I just spent 3 incredible nights staying at Ippola Boutique Hotel. Located just 20 meters from a small white pebbled beach in Mani, this hotel exceeded my expectations. Ours was the Deluxe Double Room located on the first floor, with direct sea and sunset views from a semi private terrace that is adorned with original canons used in the past to fend off pirates. This feature alone added to the overall exceptional experience since we couldn’t get enough of sitting on this terrace - shaded in the mornings due to the sun rising behind the property and sunset strewn skies at sundown. We began our mornings taking our breakfast there in peace and quiet, soaking up the gorgeous views. Breakfast is served in a buffet style downstairs in a breakfast hall however the hotel gives you options to enjoy it at your terrace or the outdoor restaurant seating areas it provides either facing the sea or at a charming little section in the back of the hotel. The buffet featured a plethora of choices that are bound to satisfy even the most picky eaters. Fresh fruits, traditional treats both sweet and savory - everything we tasted was simply exquisite. The highlight for me was the ‘kayana’ eggs which were prepared to perfection. The room and all common areas of this charming hotel were spotlessly clean, all members of the staff were very helpful, friendly, eager to assist and forthcoming. Although the area does not offer plenty of choice for dining, the hotel’s restaurant serves exceptional food which will be brought up to your room’s terrace. I cannot fault this hotel in any way - it is for those who seek quietude and tranquility from...
Read moreIppola Boutique Hotel provided the perfect setting for a holiday which I will cherish for a long time. Modern chic surroundings, comfortable beds, black-out shutters and curtains for fussy sleepers too. Overall cleanliness of the spaces and friendliness of the staff made our stay simply effortless. Situated in a quiet spot in the traditional settlement of Mezapos in Mani, do not expect much diversity in terms of dining outside the hotel. There are just a few tavernas and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, but this only adds to the fact that you are experiencing becoming part of a traditional little village where most households cook for their own families. To compensate for the lack of dining options of the destination, the hotel has an exquisite cuisine which is just as good as a relatively high-end restaurant in Athens. Breakfast was generous in the choices offered which were replenished frequently so that you always had a full-spread from which to choose - must try are the traditional Mani pancakes which are best served drizzled in honey and sprinkled with cinnamon. Do try their cuisine for lunch or dinner too. Fantastic sea and sunset views from the terrace of our Deluxe Double Room, which I would definitely recommend to others seeking an environment in which to fully unwind and recharge...
Read moreFrom the moment we've just arrived, Vassilys trated us as a very kings. He's so kind and gentle! The two sister girls that serves in the restaurant are also adorable. We'll return again for sure next year.||I love all the refurbishment they've done in whole hotel. It's made from two typical stone towers of Mani, but all the design details are handled with care in every spot you look. The styling is perfect and very modern for such a kind of old stone building. And this is very difficult to reach.||The furniture is stunning. Wonderful solid wood table and chairs in the dinning room matched with shelfs on the same style. The outdoor furniture and umbrellas are a really good choice for such a wonderful place.||I... just love it!||Thanks for all guys! You've made our holidays here unforgettable.||P.D.: You'll find a spectacular surprise on the (almost) private beach at the end of the day.||Don't hesitate...
