Philothea Guesthouse — Hotel in Municipality of East Mani

The apartments are amazing for people who want easygoing, quiet and relaxing holidays. We visited during March, and, while the weather was still cold, the apartments were really warm and cozy! They were beautiful, respecting the traditional architecture of Mani. Everything was clean, the beds were very warm and comfortable and the balcony was spacious with a great view! The jaccuzi was nice as well (fits around 2 people)! Unfortunately, breakfast wasn't available due to covid restrictions.

Access can be a little tricky, but, if you drive carefully, you get used to it. If you plan to visit, I suggest buying stuff from local grocery stores and cooking there, the kitchen is very well equipped and there is also a barbeque. If you want to eat out, there is a tavern in the village but it isn't open all the time, so you could also visit Oitylo, Areopolis, Limeni or other nearby towns...

Ενώ βλέποντας τις φωτογραφίες νομίζεις ότι είναι μια εξαιρετική επιλογή, η αρνητική έκπληξη έρχεται όταν πρέπει να φτάσεις. Απίστευτα κακοτραχαλος δρόμος, επικίνδυνος και αν έχεις χαμηλό αυτοκίνητο ούτε να το σκεφτείς. Είναι 200μ που οδηγούν μόνο στο ξενοδοχείο και θα έπρεπε να είχε προνοήσει ο ιδιοκτήτης να στρώσει έστω τσιμέντο. Η περιουσία του είναι άλλωστε. Σα κατάλυμμα καθαρό μεν, όμως μου έδεινε την αίσθηση της αδιαφορίας κ ότι τρέχει στον αυτόματο. Δλδ καμμένες λάμπες, η κουζίνα δε ζεσταίνει. Είναι κρίμα γιατί η τοποθεσία είναι μεν ωραία αλλά στη μέση του πουθενά κ κάπως πρέπει να δελεάσει...
