Towers of Edem — Hotel in Municipality of East Mani

We visited with my husband a few days ago. They were kind enough to show us all the available rooms (as no two rooms are alike) to choose where we want to stay. ||The village is small and has literally nothing to do but it is located in the middle of the peninsula so it's perfect as a base for nearby excursions.||The building is amazing, stone built, traditionally designed, the only downside been the small bathroom and the stairs connecting the rooms, the breakfast hall and the entrance. If you're traveling with a baby (stroller) or a disabled person ask for a ground level room in advance.||Breakfast is served from 9am till anytime you want and contains several local treats like pies and fruits. ||If it had a wifi connection (because of the construction method cell phone reception is bad in the rooms) and parking area (we had to move our car when the garbage truck passed) it...

Very nice location but no maintenance has been done recently. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly at first but there was a lot of noise during the night. The owners dogs were kept outside and barked all night, in one of our rooms the shower wasn't working and was leaking. It's a beautiful building but I would not recommend staying here unless you like being kept awake by loud noises in the middle of the night and a couple doing adult stuff extremely loudly in the room next to you (my 13 year old son was forced to listen to this at 2am).||When we left 3 nights early after a stay of 1 night where my wife, son and Daughter did not sleep the owner was upset. We explained our complaints but ended up paying 300 euro's for one night. She then marked our booking as no show to booking.com so I now know why there are hardly...

UPDATE: To be fair I'll pust this update: After two weeks of going back and forth with Booking.com the property refunded our 300,-.
