I have written over 1000 Tripadvisor reviews, and I never have given a hotel a review like this. This owner knowingly misrepresented this property, and we had to leave after the 1st night even though we paid for 5 nights. He refused to accommodate us in any way. For the Greeks reading this, he is without filotimo. By the way, the water is not drinkable here, and it was a struggle to have hot water for the shower. ||||This small collection of villas is extremely isolated. Nice views, but there is not even a front desk. No one is even at the property in case you have any problems or questions. The owner says to call, but it is not practical when you have small questions throughout the day about restaurants, etc. ||||The listing on booking.com clearly says that there is both a free and paid shuttle - LIE! No staff existed at the villa except for a nice cleaning woman, and she made it clear that she only cleans and cannot help with anything else. ||||When asked about the lack of drinkable water, the answer was "I never said the water is drinkable." When asked about the cleaning woman turning off the hot water heater during our showers, he said that this was a "required for ISO certified safety." The Wi-Fi barely worked. Clearly, this is not an honorable person. I should also add that we all speak Greek as well.||||Finally, the people of Porto Heli are very nice, but the village is looking rough. Garbage is piled up everywhere, including along the roads. It looks like it has not been collected for some time. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Spetses is just a few minutes away on...
Read moreThe Villa we stayed in was in a lovely peaceful area in nice surroundings with fruit trees and a view of the sea||The up sides were the host was extremely friendly. There was a small welcome basket and the villa was very clean with a nice outside space. It is a short car trip into town. I would advise a rental car.||There is a small safe play area for smaller children.||Although there is no washing machine the cleaner will apparently do your laundry at no cost. I hand washed ours.||The down sides for us were we were in one of the villas at the back so a lot of the view is obstructed and not the wow we expected but still nice.||The ground floor is split level so not suitable for toddlers or elderly. I fell down the kitchen steps but then I am quite clumsy. I do however think they are a trip or fall hazard. The upper level is also split level with the bathroom and the second bedroom is only suitable for children as the beds are up a ladder with a low ceiling.||The kitchen equipment is quite basic if you enjoy cooking and very few electric sockets for charging phones etc||Also FYI no paper allowed in toilet and tap water is not drinkable. There was 1 bottle of water provided on arrival||The cleaner really only takes the trash each day but does change the sheets and towels mid week.||I think it would be helpful if there were some cleaning products supplied and some extra kitchen equipment e.g scissors, salt and pepper and a few more tea towels and perhaps complimentary daily bottled water||All in all it was a nice...
Read moreThe resort is owned run by a family of four; the Mother/Father and Two Brothers.||We were met on arrival of the FlyingCat by not just one, but both Brothers as we had a large amount of luggage - this was perfect and they took us and our luggage the short distance (maybe 2km) to the Villa.||Check-in was smooth and very fast and then one of the Brothers drove us personally to a car hire place where he introduced us to a friend and we hired a car in minutes. He then took us to a restaurant where he introduced us to his friends and after our late lunch, one of the owners of that restaurant kindly drove us back to collect our car.||As hosts, the family are perfectly and very clearly care about their guests and their guests having as perfect a time as possible. On leaving, the Mother made a lovely gesture by giving us fresh Lavender and Oregano from the garden.||The Villa was one of four villa's, on a secluded hillside about 4 minutes' drive from the Waterfront/Restaurants. The other three Villa's whilst close, were very quiet even though they were all occupied and so this can be a very relaxing/quiet place to stay.||Pool/terrace all nice with SunLoungers. The Villa was clean, had just the right amount of amenities and there was a nice welcome pack of Wine, Fresh Cake and Tea/Coffee.||The bed was comfortable, water very hot indeed in the showers and air conditioning was perfect.||We have nothing but positive comments to make about our stay here and would highly recommend it to others'...
