Booked this as a bit of a last minute holiday on another site where reviews were all positive and it's been great. We got here late on a Saturday having flown into Athens and drove down. Took a couple of hours but there are places to stop and some great views on the way.||The Nymfes is set back from the main road amongst olive and orange trees - once you get to Porto Heli and the main roundabout turn left. Go down for about a mile until you get to the Nikki Beach hotel, where you take the road to the left (there's a blue sign for the Nymfes). Slow down and look for another blue Nymfes sign on the right and there's a track immediately right (1st gear here 😀). Then another right hand just at the top of the hill. Green, electric gates welcome you. We had the telephone number to hand as we didn't mention our arrival time.||All good! Webwere warmly welcomed by the owner and shown our apartment. Our hosts even sorted out a take away delivery for us and brought over a glass of wine rather than head back out in search of food with two tired tots. We had a 2 bedroom apartment in the green block. All the rooms are of a really good standard and the kitchen has a microwave, small dishwasher and washing machine (god send for us) as well as a kettle and all the kitchen essentials. There are 2 bathrooms well stocked with soap and shampoos (nice Greek range called O Live). Bedrooms are a good size with plenty of wardrobe space.||There are 3 blocks so it's not a big complex, each block has (we think) 2 apartments each.||All of the rooms have a pool view and to walk to the pool will take you a leisurely 20 seconds! If you have an upstairs room then you will have a lovely view of Porto Heli and the owners' orange and olive grove.||The owner is lovely, he doesn't speak alot of English but he loves children and has a very sweet dog and a couple of cats here. The animals are social but if you don't like them I'm sure the owner will keep them away.||The kids park is great, not very big but enough to keep under 5s busy for 20mins.||The whole complex is very clean and well maintained and daily room service and fresh towels.||We came in October and had the place to ourselves. Very spoilt and that meant it was really quiet and peaceful. Still warm enough to get in the pool.||It is a 5min car journey or 25min walk along the seafront into town. Nymfes is not bustling or in the heart of it but it is a very lovely oasis to genuinely relax at with a charming host as...
Read moreWe just spent 10 days in this wonderful apartment. Despite having 6 units on site it’s remarkably quiet, the grounds are immaculate and the owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in an upper floor apartment with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, we got a cleaner visiting each day and fresh towels every other day. The flat is very spacious, with decent size bedrooms (all with AC) and fitted wardrobes. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities including a dishwasher and washing machine. The views from the veranda are lovely and the pool is kept very clean. No shortage of sun beds either. The location is a couple km from Porto Heli and ideally you need a car as the area has some amazing beaches and restaurants to explore. |All in all a great place for a...
Read moreWe were celebrating a wedding and stayed a week before the big day (the Reception was actually held at Nymfes). We had a very comfortable and spotlessly clean villa and other family members and friends had booked the other villas. The site itself is very secure making it perfect for young children. The landscaping is lovely and the paths etc. are immaculately maintained. The owners are delightful; we had a small issue with a coffee machine which was quickly replaced without fuss. The pool and play areas are again very well maintained and the small bar onsite provides drinks. We would definitely return. The layout makes it perfect for a large family holiday or...
