Katina's house — Hotel in Municipality of Festos

I'm so happy we found this place, we spent 4 nights here.

Everything is exceptionally clean, the interior is very nice, good beds, a hot tub, beautiful outdoor seating upstairs and downstairs, a big outdoor kitchen... the owners give much love and attention to the house and details and cleanliness. And the welcome gift/fruit is a nice touch that makes you feel welcome and at home.

I first thought the house and interior had to be new, not a single scratch or damage anywhere, the hot tub was so clean that it looked like it was new! Same goes for the washing machine, fridge, kitchen supplies, beds, couch, etc.

The location is great, it's in a traditional village but close to Matala, Moires, Tymbaki etc. Personally I really loved the village and the local people, I prefer it over an overly tourist-y town like Matala or Agia Galini. Villages like this are the "real" Cretan experience!

You have an amazing view from the hot tub, a palm tree and sunset, later the moon and stars... very fancy! Parking right in front of the house.

The supermarket is literally next door, and the town square with taverns and small shops are less than a 2 minute walk.

5/5 rating, when we come back to this area we will book Katina house again.

Me and my family(2 adults +2 kids, 11 & 14 years old)stayed in this house for 3 weeks this summer! From the start We were in Good contact with the owners. At the arrival We were also very nicely received by Stellios who had prepared Water, fruit, beer, snacks etc which was a nice surprise. During the whole stay Stellios was there for Any question or issue We might have had, always making sure Everything was ok. This was very much appreciated. House was in a really Good condition and super clean. Can strongly recommend this house...

Clean house. Extra towels. Equipped kitchen. Equipped bathrooms. The owner invited us to village events. 😀

I would upgrade the wifi router. The network dropped often and there are places in the house where the router is...
