Elati Hills — Hotel in Municipality of Gortynia

Probably one of the most amazing experiences I have ever enjoyed in the Greek countryside. I have visited twice, both in the winter and in the summer time. Each season had a different type of charm. In the summer, we enjoyed the trekking to the monasteries (it is called the Meteora of the Peloponnese) and the rafting at Lousios river, maybe less adventurous as the water level is slightly lower, hence, more adequate for families with younger children or rafting beginners. In the winter, it is just a dream location with the stunning sceneries of nature, the Christmas trees (firs) covering every ounce of the earth. The surrounding nature, the next door Chalet and ponies, the donkies, every element truly contributes to a mind boggling experience. We are now addicted to this destination and despite living far away always trying our best to fit it in whether as a family, as a team building occasion or even as a solitary relaxation for a couple of nights. The road is of excellent quality. Thank you Thanos & company for this gift. Everyone, ENJOY...

The guesthouse is exceptional and finished with very high standards. I can’t really explain with plain words how beautiful is the whole scenery!

The house is placed into the woods nearby the main road of Vytina - Elati next to the river. You can literally listen to the river’s sound and feel the breeze coming from the fir trees which are all over the place around the house.

The house itself is very warm and cosy, perfect for sitting by the fireplace and reading, playing board games and drinking cups of coffee whilst enjoying the beautiful view from the windows.

The kitchenette is fully equipped with cutlery and cooking utensils, greek coffee and lots of tea bags - convenient for cooking breakfast or meals. Beds are comfortable and equipped with sheets, pillows and pillowcases. Towels are provided as well.

Overall, the guest house was like a dream house to us; the area is so beautiful and idyllic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We hope to come back again!!...

Visited last weekend for a quick getaway from the city along with a group of friends and 2 babies. When we arrived we were impressed by the beautiful scenery and the warmth of this place. The house was fully equipped with whatever you might need, just like living in your own house! Situated in a superb area in the nature with lots of activities (horse riding, trekking, skiing) and just a 10' drive to Vytina. The owner was extremely polite and accommodating since our first communication via phone. We will definitely visit it again! Thank you...
