We had an unforgettable stay in this wonderful place. Surrounded by olive groves and overlooking Kalamata town, the sea, and even the opposite coast, the views were breathtaking — especially the sunsets.
The hosts were incredibly attentive and made sure we were comfortable every day. The apartment was cleaned daily, and every morning fresh bread, pastries, yogurt, cheese, ham, fruit, and eggs were provided, which made our stay completely stress-free and deeply enjoyable.
On arrival, we found delicious Kalamata olives and olive oil waiting for us. Tasting them with local tomatoes and cheese was a revelation — we truly felt the essence of this land through its food. Asking questions about olives led to inspiring conversations that enriched our understanding of the local culture, and we are so grateful for that.
The kitchen was fully equipped, perfect for preparing vegetables from the farmer’s market (just bring your own seasonings). Another thoughtful touch was the bathroom amenities — Apivita, a beautiful Greek cosmetic brand — which made the stay feel even more special.
This was one of the most thoughtful, generous, and authentic stays we have ever experienced. We would love to return and recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone...
Read moreWhat an incredible find!!! After booking at another place much further up the hill which stank of smoke and had broken screens, we ended up, luckily for one night with Miss Nadia and her lovely mother Olga. This place was just everything a summer villa should be. Nadia has outfitted the beautiful apartment with everything one could want. A beautiful welcome gift was therewith local specialties (including her husband's Astir company's great olive oil!!). In the fridge was an incredible "continental breakfast" which included a melon from their garden, eggs from their chickens, bacon, cheese, toast, ham, etc. The home was so tastefully furnished, and even though my daughter had to sleep on the sofa bed, she was so comfortable. The view from the huge balcony is unbelievable and the place is only about 7 minutes from the beach in Kalamata. We liked it so much that we wanted to stay a second night, just to stay, but they were booked out. We will certainly come back to stay here and to visit Kalamata again!! Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. We wish Nadia and her family...
Read moreWhat can I say for this high quality guesthouse with fully equipped kitchen. The Host filled our fridge with variety of fruits (sourced from the families garden), dairy, charcuterie and 4 different kinds of coffee as well as freshly baked bread and pastries from a local artisan bakery. They also accommodated my gluten free diet. The beds and mattresses were top notch quality with fluffy pillows and soft and clean bedsheets. Brand new air-con system, darkening shades for difficult sleepers like me. Spacious living room to chill for a movie night, it saved us when one day was raining and we stayed in for board games. Lastly but most importantly, the balcony had the best view in Kalamata for our relaxing time before heading down to the center which was super close. Thank you for this...
