Located in a field 6 kms before Kalavryta, next to the river and the railway. Very secluded and quiet location, the road isn't busy so it won't bother you. There are various types of rooms (and prices accordingly), so this review is for "maisonette" type only. Positive: Clean spacious rooms and bathrooms, very good heating (needed as the temperatures can be below 0 in the winter), hot water, fireplace in room, kitchenette, large flat tv. There is a common breakfast/living room with a bar, a few couches and a wood stove. Great place to relax with a drink. Breakfast was good, with a variety of pies, eggs, cereal. The place is ideal for families as it has huge outdoor areas, even provides horseback riding!! The family who runs the place are very friendly, making efforts to please at all times.||Areas that need improvement: larger selection of local breads for breakfast, orange juice instead of apricot juice, wifi in rooms, CRT TV in bedroom, more closets/hangers, bathroom details like better toilet seats, damaged shower cabin doors, replacement shower hoses etc. ||For the prices this place charges they need to spend more time on the details and quality items, otherwise they will be regarded as overpriced.||If it wasn't for the excellent and friendly service, this place would be...

Read moreMagical place in unbelievable landscape and unspoiled nature. It is nestled in among beautiful mountains and has a river running past the lower part of the land with various hammocks and chairs dotted around.
We took the path to 'Zahlorou' which was a 40min hike past some breathtaking landscape as in the pictures. Stopped and had some local tsipouro and meze and walked back again.
There is also the option to walk 6 hours to Diakopto and take the train back. I may opt for the train there and back ha!
Can't recommend this place enough, so welcoming, comfortable and clean and an excellent place to laze around or use as an...
