LEFKORAMA HOTEL — Hotel in Municipality of Karpathos

We went to Karpathos for the second time and we choose this hotel for our stay. We was so happy with it for whole the time. When we arrived we meet all the owners and from this moment they call us with our names. Room was awessome. Exactly the same like on photos. Everything was new, clean and comfy. View from the balcony is magnificant like all the soroundings of the hotel. You will have breakfast every morning there if you want something extra you can ask for that. If you prefere to eat at hotel you can ask and get great and tasty dinner there too. If you prefere to get a beer or wine thats also possible to get there. Hotel is about 30 minutes from beach, but walking through the beautifull nature was great experience for us as well. If you are not much walker you can rent a car and drive whenever you want to. Parking car next to the hotel is also possible for free.||If you need internet connection there is a great and stable wifi in the hotel. One of the nicest places in Karpathos, with the hotel set in the countryside around Lefkos, among olive groves, and in sight of the rocky mountains as well of the crystal blue see, just a mile down below.||Nikos and his wife Mouskala are two great hosts, always smiling and ready to help you. The rooms are essential but tidy, clean and with the unlimted view of the Greek sea and the distant island of Kasos.||Lefkorama is supposed to be just a hotel with breakfast, but you soon discover that you can laos have a great dinner prepared and served by Mouskala (a great cook, indeed !) at a very low cost, eating what they normally eat in their own apartment below the hotel. Don't forget to then help them bring the empty dishes to thei kitchen sink, as you are just one more guest in their house, and to share a chat with Mouskala's mom, who is 98 yrs old but still pretty alive and simpatica !||Also, Nikos will help you in whatever you will need to do/have done.||A very little bu enjoyable paradise, excellent for single travellers...

Let's start with Manoli and Sphia, wonderful hosts who immediately put us at ease with fresh fruit, an indication of what to see, the most beautiful beaches and excursions. And for this we are really grateful to Sophia for allowing us to spend a beautiful week in Karpathos. The hotel is surrounded by greenery, in a quiet area where in the evening you can enjoy the fresh wind from the sea, total peace and a strategic position exactly in the middle of the island. The rooms are new an clean, equipped with all comforts. Breakfast is a sight: sweet, salty, fresh fruit from the garden. All very good! We miss our "corner" in the front garden where we enjoyed a beer at the end of the day. We soon fall in love with this place and it was hard having to go back to everyday life.
