Enastron View Hotel Kastoria — Hotel in Municipality of Kastoria

We definitely thought this was not a 4* hotel - 3* at best. For example, there were almost no toiletries provided.... only some generic shampoo in a wall dispenser. The breakfast was very poor - lukewarm coffee, deep fried croissants, honey in tiny pre-pakaged pots (in Greece!). The decor was all glass tables, chrome and laminate flooring. We had noisy aircon that leaked all over the balcony, broken lightbulbs and the chambermaid left her cleaning products in the bathroom. This was also the only hotel on our 3 week trip to charge for water and make the fridge unusable by packing it with paid-for items.||||The hotel is a long way out of the town - car is essential - and surrounded by unloved stray cats. It was a soulless place. Functional but below the standards expected of 4*. No tea or coffee making facilities. Management...

This is a characterless hotel that doesn't live up to its rating. ||||My bedside light was broken, the (noisy) aircon unit left the balcony flooded, the cleaner left cleaning equipment in the bathroom, the fridge in the room was so stuffed with items being sold to guests by the hotel (including bottled water, the only hotel I stayed at in Greece that did not offer free bottled water) there wasn't room enough for my things that I wanted to cool. Finally, the breakfast was poor - many items to choose from, but not many of them appetising: I ended up skipping breakfast altogether.||||On the plus side, the hotel was fairly quiet, and so far away from the town there was no chance of being disturbed by its (very) distant nightlife.||||I would rate this a 3-star rather than a...

The overall experience at this hotel was incredible. We had booked the room with lake view (two-room)

Its location is amazing. From the balcony the complete breathtaking view of Kastoria's lake is at your feet. The room itself was beyond our expectations. Very large, comfy and very clean. Room service was daily The personnel was remarkably professional, polite and helpful. Breakfast was very well cooked and full of choices

Overall it was an experience that easily exceeds the norm in Greek hotels

The only thing that I could say on top of the above is that another visit at Kastoria would definitely have Enastron hotel on my checklist
