Avoid this hotel at all costs! It’s definitely not a 5 star hotel, maybe maximum 3 stars if it gets clean. I feel I was scammed multiple times there. The list of things that went wrong: We took an executive room on the executive floor. We were supposed to get “espresso machine, complimentary coffee break kit.”. What we got: a kettle, 2 tiny sachets of instant NEscafe, the smallest/cheapest Nespresso coffee maker and 2(!!!) capsules that were not free - they were charging 2 euros per each! That’s such a shame and a cheap move… really, in the 5 star hotel and in the executive room? The bed was extremely uncomfortable, it wasn’t possible to sleep on it The bedding: duvets, pillows, sheets, covers etc - the cheapest quality possible, it did not feel like in a hotel - more like a summer camp Rooms need general renovation - you can see they’re rusty and were not refreshed in years In the shower - there is some weird cut off cubicle that I believe is supposed to be a shelf for cosmetics. Sure, it will do if you use only the products in the tiny bottles, but for real - the normal size cosmetics will not fit and you’ll have to keep them on the floor The cubicle was extremely dirty and had black mold. We were grossed out to take a shower (again, 5 star hotel, not student dorms from 90s!) The mentioned cubicle has its wall in the toilet - and it was leaking as crazy. Anytime someone took a shower, we had a toilet flooded There is only 1 slider door for shower/toilet, so if one person is taking a shower - another one will have to use the toilet with the door wide open (with the ‘urban view’) Bathrobes - it looked as it was chewed by a dog (see photos) After we complained about this room and asked for moving us elsewhere - the staff told us they cannot upgrade us because “They are fully booked”. Well, we saw something else, the hotel was almost empty. They got us another room that was the same as the previous one with the improvements: shower cubicle wasn’t leaking The shower was leaking through the door The splash in the loo was super weak, it had to be pushed few times to make an impact The sinks/mirror area was probably never wiped The walls were dirty The armchairs were so old and dusty that we never sat on them The phone was located in the toilet (???) so literally you order your room service sitting on the loo Once we ordered a room service that wasn’t coming - found out by ourselves that it was made in the hotel in Crete instead of Athens. We informed the staff member, but we got gaslit and we were told that we probably selected the wrong number. The number was printed on the menu and we were not aware there is another hotel in Crete. Buttons for opening/closing the curtains were not working, we had to do it manually The breakfast was super simple. I would expect something more from a 5 star hotel. It was a hostel level of choices - not disgusting, but super basic And now let’s review the SPA… that was so gross I have goosebumps when I think about it! It looks NOTHING like on the photos IT was so extremely dirty… mold everywhere, all the corners were covered with it The water in what is called “jacuzzi” was green, oil and stinky. I stepped on something slippery in the water, I don’t wanna know what it was. Mind the fact that it wasn’t free - 15 Euros per person for 30 min. For a tiny pool with 2 sources of bubbles hardly running. There were supposed to be 2 saunas, but only one was operating (we were not informed that the 2nd one is out of service) The showers there worked just ONCE! So after the sauna you’d probably have to go to your room to get a cold shower. I would never ever step my foot there, that was the worst water area I’ve seen in my entire life (even worse than Eastern European pools from 90s) STAY AWAY from this “SPA” - we learned our lesson and got treatments in other places When we complained to the SPA staff - we were told that they’re not responsible for cleaning these premises. The reception told us that SPA is external company - so it turns out nobody is responsible for cleaning

We feel extremely disappointed by this experience. We were lied to from the moment of booking until the check-out on a daily basis. The rooms are rusty and dirty. The shower is leaking. The beds are very uncomfortable and the mattresses are one of the poorest quality I've ever seen in any hotel. I had to buy my own pillow and bring it to the hotel because I couldn't sleep at night due to the bad quality of linen. I am in the process of verifying which institution gave this hotel 5 stars because it deserves 2/3 starts at best. We even filed an official complaint to the Greek National Tourism Organisation. The staff told us that they are fully booked where in fact the hotel was almost empty and another guest next door even called it ''a ghost hotel''. The breakfast is less than basic - a bread, cheese, eggs, tomato and cucumber. The SPA is extremely neglected and filthy. We have an email stating that the wet area is free of charge but in fact, we had to pay for it. The receptionist mislead us by saying the SPA has both - wet area and a jacuzzi. In fact, the only wet area is the ''jacuzzi'' and it's actually hard to call it a jacuzzi in the first place. It's a small pool with greasy, green water and mould all over (you don't need to believe my words nor the words of the hotel that will respond to my review - just see the pictures yourself). Please, compare the pictures of the rooms and the SPA advertised on their website and Booking to the pictures I've posted. It's like a totally different place. The hotel management doesn't take any responsibility for their actions and gaslight every customer that complains about the quality of their service (which you will soon see yourself by how they'll answer to my review. I also encourage you to check other negative reviews on Booking and see how rude they are towards the guests). Avoid and stay away from this place!

The hotel premises are nice and clean without particular character. I visited the space in order to receive a quote as to book the metting rooms (all of them) for a five day conference in January and I was promised to be sent the quote until the evening of the same day. Three days passed and heard nothing. When I called to complain about it, the head of sales Ms. Elda informed me with impressive calmness that meanwhile a query from another client had been confirmed and that she had not let me know there was another client interested in the same dates because...they had not paid a deposit yet. So, well, I find this is definitely a very unprofessional behaviour and I would never get back to them or suggest this venue for a business meeting to someone else. They are short-sighted with zero respect to the client. I was never offered an apology.

This hotel is a little off the beaten path but in one of the more upscale neighborhoods of Athens so, very green and beautiful. All the staff were fantastic (I wish I could remember each of their names). The gentleman that helps you with your bags and parking (I think his name was Pericles) was the fantastic. Housekeeping was wonderful and helpful. I wish I could remember his name also. The front desk staff was very thoughtful. I had to get up @ 4 a.m. to catch my flight and would have missed breakfast they made a wonderful care package for me to take @ checkout. It included a piece of fruit, a sandwich and 2 yummy cookies. Loved the different juices they had at reception each day. The pools were beautiful and modern but very cold so I didn't get to dip in them. I'm all about being eco-friendly and not using single use plastics and look for hotels that are conscious of that. They have an electric car charger which I thought was fantastic! If I'd known I would have rented an electric car. I loved how the bottle of water they have waiting in the room for you was a glass one and you can reuse it. They don't have recycling bins around the hotel, unfortunately, but you can give your bottles or cans to reception and they recycle it for you. I liked how you can hang up your towels/robes if you don't want them to change them out and this helps conserve water. The only thing I didn't like was that they didn't offer towels for the guests to take to the beach. This was the first hotel I've ever stayed at in Greece that didn't offer this. Everything in the room (shades, lights, exterior glass covering the balcony) was operable by remotes located next to the bed, on the wall by the balcony or on the wall as you entered the room. Some of them weren't working but the parts that I personally needed worked just fine. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast. For the size of the hotel I was expecting a bigger spread but what they did have was fresh and delicious. I was disappointed to see, however, that they don't have decaf coffee. Not everyone can have...
