Effrosini Homes | Kissamos, Chania — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

We really liked the Effrosini Home. The location is great, very quiet and yet only a few kilometres away from the highlights of Crete. Just down the hill there is also an excellent taverna and a very cool bar and breakfast restaurant.

The apartment itself is fabulous, very clean and well maintained. The technical equipment is top: fast wifi, air conditioning in all rooms, TV with all the programs of the world (no idea who needs that) and a keycard for the door that switches off all the electrics when you leave. The 4x6 meter pool is crystal clear and wonderfully cool.

And if you're missing your pet from home, don't worry. There's a lovely gang of cats who love to visit from time to time and to be petted.

Two things you might want to know: The beds look quite large in the photos but they are queen size beds (app. 150x200 cm). The mattresses are very good, but rather hard.

We booked the place through Airbnb and at first we thought we would be renting a complete house on its own, but it is ‘only’ the lower apartment. There also is a second Appartment above yours.

Michaelis is a great host who goes out of his way to make sure you have a good time. We would stay with him again...

This fully renovated apartment has every comfort you could possibly wish for and then some. It is in a quiet area surrounded by olive trees, but in no time you're on the main roads to all the most wonderful beaches in west Crete. As a guest, you feel truly pampered and cared for. If you are looking for a place to visit Balos, Falasarna etc do yourself a favor and book...

We had a great stay at Effrosini Home, the upper apartment with the panorama view. It was clean, modern and very well equiped. The view from the private balcony over the mountains was great, too!
