Kallimento Dimitra — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

How can I say? I was so in loved with this place! Such a traditional Cretan stone house with family history, yet great renovated, so you have every modern comfortability and decorated with love. Great experience to live, cook and enjoy the feeling like a local in the nice mountain area in the west Crete! You absolutely have your peace here and you woke up with sunshine and rooster calling in the morning. No bothering from usual tourism noises around. Our host Konstantina could not be more helpful and welcoming, she waited quite late when we arrived on the first day and explained everything in details, she also gave us great suggestions and you can ask her anything! She prepared fresh vegetables from her grandmas garden (!) and bread for us so we did not worry about our breakfast! The location is great, you can easily reach the main road to get to beaches in the west. Amazing experience and totally recommend! Well if you enjoy the usual tourism feeling with all facilities surrounding you then this might be the wrong place for you but if you enjoy the peace and want to have once in the life time experience of local mountain village in Crete, then absolutely...

Very nice accommodation. Very clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location surrounded by some lovely mountain views. The host couldn't be more helpful. Would have been a 5 star rating but it is a good bit away from any amenities i.e. Tavernas, restaurants, nothing in walking distance. If that is not a issue this is a great place to stay...

Superb holiday home, very nice decoration and all facilities needed. Very friendly host. It is hard to find such quality so don't think twice...
