Malathiros villas — Hotel in Municipality of Kissamos

We spent ten days in one of the pool villas at the end of June. The villas are pretty spectacular. There's a lot of space inside and outside. The inside has everything you will need (the kitchen allows you to actually cook and even bake if you feel like it) but it's the garden with its pool and view that really makes the difference in my opinion. The view is just fantastic! Granted, the drive to Kissamos or any other place is really something, but when you leave the crowded beaches and get back to this haven of peace you know all those curves were worth it! The location is actually quite convenient for day trips to Falassarna, Elafonisi, Balos and Paleochora. You definitely need a car and I'd get the shopping done in Chania or Kissamos but there are small stores and tavernas on the way up. Emmanuel was super nice. He cut some olive wood for us so we could use the barbecue and he even invited us to a party at his house (sadly we couldn't go). I believe the house got cleaned 3/4 times during our stay. I'd go back if only to have breakfast overlooking the hills all the way to the sea or to bask in the sun...

We spend 2 weeks last summer in this lovely location. The villas are built among the wild nature in the middle of the hills in the center of Chania Prefecture. ||The owner, Mr Manolis, has done his best to offer his guests the quietest stay there.||Kids loved the pool and the views of the vulchers, scanning the plane bellow from the blue skies.||Distance from civilization is something we loved, but might be a problem should you fancy the night life in Chania, as you'll require 45 min to reach the town.||It wasn't a problem for my family though and we loved...

The nicest family welcomed us to our villa situated high in the mountains with views I have never witnessed before.... The villa was clean, warm and welcoming with a spacious barbecue area which we used every night! To say this was one of the best places we have visited would be a massive understatement we enjoyed it so much we have booked up for May 2017 for a week longer this time. If your a keen walker like us you will enjoy the gorge and the mythos waiting for you at the local tavern at the end of the gorge!! Can't wait to see you all again. ...
