Country Rooms near Athens — Hotel in Municipality of Markopoulo Mesogaias

It was horrible! We arrived there and we entered the property through a back yard with abandoned cars. There were a couple of children playing in the yard. We were showed an entrance at a lower level. That entrance was going through a room with 3 or 4 bunk beds were more children and adults were preparing food, or something. Apparently our room was beyond this one, and there was a shared kitchen and bathroom. I counted around 10 people including the adults that were living in that "villa". When we refused to stay, he said that 'Oh, I didn't know you wanted to stay alone... Duh?!?! Of course we wanted our own apartment, with our own kitchen, and our own bathroom!!!' Then he offered to show us another room at the higher level, which was even filthier than the one before, that didn't even a door handle! It had rope instead of a door handle. Frankly I want to tell you that we were afraid. We didn't feel safe. I even thought about calling the police. There were at least 10 individuals that looked very dubious. We almost ran away as fast...

Worst experience ever! I booked there for one night and asked them if it is possible to check in late at 11p.m. They told me that wouldn't be any problem. Well I ended up there at 11p.m with closed gates. I shouted hopelessly for at least 10 times, but with no luck. So there I was in a lost place with no battery life and any hope to get back to the airport. After multiple attempts and one hour later a local stopped and took me to the airport. What I got was a 40€ taxi fee, a panic attack and a bad sleep...

WORST----DIRTY Was the worst place in my life! Is so complicated to arrive and departure of this place, every time I need to pay around €25 because doesn't have any station( transport) close, so at the final the total bill is €65, is better if you go another place. The room was dirty, and outside the house, so I didn't know if they have a good bathroom inside the house, because outside is worst than a public toilet! Is better pay more than go...
