I'll start with the pros: I think it probably has improve since the review from a year ago taht you can read here. Bedrooms: + clean and okay, as this is not a boutique hotel, furniture and aesthetic go accordingly. but confortobla bed, working AC, TV, our roum was closer to the quiet pool so less noise than by the Lookea activity pool. big blinds to cut the heat in the day, cute balcony. - WIfi is... well deficient, would go on and off multiple time a day, 2 twin bed stick together... not the best option for romantic cuddles. Food + lots of greek yogurt and feta, a staff member cooking 2 options of "on the spot meals" 1 pasta/1 meat option, lots fresh fruits, all the ingredients to make your own salad, decent coffee machine. As we had booked with transat with had unlimited access to the restaurant Avra in evening and the Tavern for lunch. Avra restaurant add multiple options of buffet food and one option of grilled meat for souvlaki. We shooked the staff by asking for warm pita bread lol but the regular bread was bleh and those pita in tsaziki were SO good. - in the main buffet area food was redundant after 3 days, most of hot meal were "in sauce" overcooked, desert were really inequal one day a full cake that people would cut themselves the next mini cup of jell-o and really commercial cake. Pour choice of juices. For the Tavern and Avra restaurant, you have to go to the front desk each morning to reserve for the next day, even if the place was really not overcowded. Tavern food was good but only one menu - same every day, Grilled octopus and cheese, fried calamaries, polenta, Greek salad, all good, but no change in the 10 days we were there. Avra restaurant could have used a little more ambiance, no music in background, bright lighting buffet style food. Amenities + Pools were always clean and well maintain, same for the beach area, plenty of beach chairs and parasols. access to cold water fountain. Staff from the Lookea organised activities were always welcoming and sympathic when met even if we were not booke into that specific arrangement. Train is a short walk so easy to get to athens. - some issues with the supply of beach towel so go early morning, front desk inequal, some time you get a cold shoulder to your question or not even a look as you pass by and they are on their phone. Other time you get a warm welcomed by young man that helps you coordinate a visit to olive grove. The Transat staff was there only some hours of the day and when asked about other activities than the one organised by them ( cruise and stuff) we got answered: "I'm not from the area, you should check google" slow clap. We got suprised by a room fee (just a 7$/day, but since we had already paid and it is all inclusive... weird) the bar service was polite but simple and very limited, they did not have local alcool mastika or Ouzo. lots of single use plastic, saw reusable cup at the bar only on the last couple evening. No recycling option on site, garbage only. No rental or consignement for snorkling or yoga. Staff + most could speak a bit of french almost all were bilingual greek/english. Gardening / maintenance and food service staff were all mostly nice and comely. - as said the Transat person on place. Some front desk people, and the food services manager were not super hospitable but not hostile. Overall leisure by the beach and some outing in athens and towards peloponnese side. we rested and enjoyed our stay, would councel to manage your expectations but still enjoyable place.

The resort is nice but simple. The beach is all rock no sand at all so be prepared and bring water shoes unless your feet are super tough. The staff mainly speaks Greek and French they have a really hard time with English. The pool is only open till 7 pm sharp and they do not bend on this. The ocean however is open always lol. The water is crystal clear and you can see down up to 20 feet without a mask. There are lots of fish but they are mainly dull colours. We did also see an octopus that was pretty cool. There food was good and fresh but very plain. The snack shop only offered two choices chicken or pork skewers with fries and Greek salad. The buffet was a different theme every day but often the same fair was served lol. I would say breakfast was the best meal of the day. The drinks were not great they all tasted subpar except the beer. The wine was bitter and really not my cup. Also they stop serving any kind of drink including juice and pop at 11:30pm sharp no exception. The staff is not very friendly at all they seem like they hate there job especially the front desk and the outside table cleaner at the buffet restaurant. He would put reserved signs on roughly 6 tables every night and no one would show up and then the tables that didnt have a sign he would tell you not to sit there and to go inside. Some people would listen others just did whatever they wanted and sat there anyway. There really is not much to do at the resort so be prepared to just lay around the pool or beach. Really no night time amusement at all so bring cards. The rooms were clean and well maintained but the beds were hard as a rock. There are a few little stores outside of the resort but the prices were very high. If you want to go to Athens there is a train you can take which is a 15 min walk from the resort and it's worth it. The train is a 45 min ride and yes there is a bathroom on the train. Once you get off the train you hop on the metro for a short ride and you are in Athens. If you are booking with Transat the rep that works there is pretty usless. His response to any issue is a shoulder shrug and an oh well what can you do lol. There was a group of people that had their flight cancelled and he didnt even know it had happened the people told him lol. He spent most of his time eating and drinking beer he said if we needed him to ask the desk to page him as he didnt like hanging around the desk. Well on the bus coming to the resort he spoke only to the French people and on the way to the airport he only spoke to the bus driver. He really is not cut out for this job or he is burnt out and needs a career change. Overall it's a great resort to see a part of Greece but you may come ahead flying in and staying at an Airbnb instead as I think it would have been a better experience.

The hotel is nice, there are a lot of bungalows in the area. Rooms are furnitured with beds, chairs, tabel, TV and refrigerator. There is inbuiled warderobe and safe as well. There was only four usefull electrical outlets - one for refrigerator, one for TV (this was on the wall in the high without shelf), one in the bathroom for the razor, so you can charged your mobile only in one of them, btw one electrical outlet is hiden behind the refrigerator. They are cleaned every day - mostly they change only towels. The beach is not sandy but a little bit stony and there is no lifeguard. The sea is clean and clear as well as the beach. The staff - some of them are normal, some are smily. Food - the choose is not huge but every day they change it so one day there are mussels, the other grilled beef. The problem is that the food isn't mostely labeled, so you don't know, what you eat but the biggest problem is that the food isn't mareked with allegens. There is a food manager, who can tell you what can you eat, but sometimes even she doesn't know, if the food is safe for us or not (me and my daughter have ceoliac deases). The hotel was informed about our restriction and the restaurant was able to offer us gluten-free pancakes for breakfast and gluten-free spaghetti for dinner. Luckyly there are a lot of fruits and salads sou we didn't suffer of hunger. We had possibily to take part in a boat trip to through the Corinth Canal, that was worth. As well as a trip to Athens.

This review is a bit long but as true, as lived. ||||Transportation from the airport to the hotel 1 hour.||||Check in: ||Fast enough, depending on how many people for registration. Before leaving, we had paid extra for a Sea View room upgrade and we didn't get it. No refund offered either.||||Room: ||We had a room in the "renovated" buildings. Comfortable beds, pillows are good and there are more in the closet, bathroom is a good size, mini fridge is empty, you have to buy water etc. The safe is not free. WiFi works well in some rooms and in the restaurants no connection. ||||Restaurants: ||Hours: Breakfast: 6 am for toasts, cereal, nothing hot and 7:30 am for hot meal.|| Lunch: 1:30 pm|| Dinner: 7:30 pm||All buffets. All meals are repetitive. Everything tastes pretty much like the spices they use, whether it's meat or pasta. Bacon once/week if you are lucky. Egg station, eggs bathe in oil. Totally disgusting.||Lots of salads, vegetables, fresh fruit (morning or evening only). Coffee, only in a machine and it is terrible. Fruit juices also in a machine and very sweet. Red, white and rosé wine for lunch and dinner. Water at room temperature, must serve yourself for ice. Snack bar no burgers or hot dogs (which kids like). ||||Alcoholic beverages: ||About 6 choices of cocktails drinks and beer at the beach bar. Pool bars only beer and soft drinks.||||Swimming pools there are 2.||Zen pool and family pool with integrated children's section.||||The Zen pool that says "TRANQUILITY" is the closest to the "renovated" buildings and which is supposed to be an “Adults and Children OVER 12 years of age” as described on a small poster on a restaurant post that serves "fish only". Well, they should completely remove that sign because they don't comply with this regulation at ALL. There were babies in diapers in the pool, kids all under 12 years old screaming and splashing everyone with big floating devices. The adults were leaving the pool because of all this. And even if we complain at the reception, "George" told me "yes I'll take care of it"... the suggestions and comments were totally ignored. I even spoke with the manager "George Gidopoulos" at one point because it was becoming out of control and it was worse, he was arrogant and didn't care at all. ||||Beach: ||Rocky with large and small rocks; fortunately we had beach shoes and I would recommend it in my opinion.||||Pool and beach bars:||Very little choice for cocktails drinks about 6 choices and beer for the beach one.||||Pool bars only beer and soft drinks (cola, sprite, orange).||||||If you want to take a train it's almost a 1 km walk.||||||Excursions: ||We did Athens as a group from the hotel. It's a full day, 105 Euros each, it's very majestic and impressive. Wear good shoes as it is very slippery. Lots of steps to climb of marble and stones. Bring water and a hat the sun is very hot. Maria, the guide is very informative throughout our journey and we stopped at a gift shop "La Plaka" for souvenirs. While talking with other people in the group we mostly agreed that they also would have liked if she had given us a small map of all the little shops nearby where there were leather shops, local gifts shops etc. we could have bought local purchases, and we could still have met at the place she had designated us on time requested by her.||||I will not recommend this resort to no one for the simple reason that the food is very repetitive, no variety and everything tastes the same. ||Nonchalant staff. ||For the price paid..., I will invest in much better. ||Very disappointed.||||I will probably come back to Greece but in different places...

F YOU ARE NOT FRENCH DO NOT GO! ( unless you want to feel segregated and 2nd class). |This is not a Greek hotel. It’s owner is French and all ‘entertainment’ is aimed at French clientele.||Colour coded guests !!- if you are French you are given an orange all inclusive wrist band . We worked out other nationalities were given other colours. We were totally in minority and only found 1 other couple with English as their first language during our 7 night stay. From our experience this coding was to ensure the orange clients received the best treatment / service / rooms etc. ||Food - I’m a little surprised as I always credited the French with good taste in food . The food here although clean is basic and repetitive so I’m sure why there were so many French people here. |The main self serve restaurant had similar selection daily with 1 guest chef item each night. The taverna ( by the adult pool) had smaller selection of table service with Greek appetisers and friendly Greek staff . The smaller, reservation only, evening restaurant by the pool is still self serve and very similar main free for all in what it served with just more chef kebabs/gyros which were very fatty with poor quality meats. There was no atmosphere here in fact no Greek music / authenticity anywhere ! ||There were some lovely Greek staff cleaning up who were pleasant to all and worked very hard. ||Reception staff..if the older chap is on reception dont bother asking him anything! He will say he doesn’t know or ignore you . the younger chap and lady were helpful. ||Venue- it looks like you are entering a cheap 1970’s Butlins holiday camp. |Much in need of repair everywhere .. bits of pool missing / rotten bases of doors in rooms meaning poor closure , loose footings on pathways etc. |We reported our shower as leaking 3 times and they sent cleaners to mop it only. The tile seals needed replacing and the floor drainage was ill fitted draining away from drain! When nothing materialised to either move us or repair it we asked instead for more towels due to there being a constant slip hazard … nothing transpired ( in fact one day we had 1 less towel to normal). ||Entertainment- this was made very clear that this was for French guests only - so we could not be in pool when they were doing water polo/ exercises / games etc as was made to feel very uncomfortable. The animation staff played awful snippets of loud music and directed all games in bar to the orange guests only and again we were made to feel very unwelcome. The rules of no children in adult pool did not apply to them either. ||We witnessed 2 English adult speaking guests , being told they could not use the ping pong tables in the main seated area by bar staff as ‘it was for French guests only’!! ( unsure what would of happened if English children had attempted to play if they would of had same response). ||There is nothing in the hotel details to indicate that entertainment and facilities are for French Tui guests only. It Only states that French and Greek is spoken here. I heard barely any Greek spoken . ||There were never any beach towels|No alcohol served till 11.30am and then all served in very non eco friendly small plastic cups . So about a 1/4 pint served each time. ||To summarise .. This is not a typical Greek resort/ hotel . Please go elsewhere . Find somewhere more traditional with Greek soul , better food and ambiance and let yourself be better embraced in a culture of the...
