While searching for a rental apartment, we stumbled upon Georgios' house in Nea Koroni by chance. We were immediately impressed and, after living there for almost a year, we are still in love with the house, the beautiful large garden with olive trees, and the ample space for our dogs to run around. The entire garden, covering over 16,000 m², is completely fenced in and offers a wide range of possibilities. The house is located a little way from the town centre, but the beach, supermarket, bar, and restaurant are only a 15- to 20-minute walk away. With the fantastic sea view and the high mountains of Mani in the background, you can look forward to a wonderful sunset every evening. The whole place is simply a dream.

The house is simply but tastefully furnished, all necessary cooking utensils, bed linen, etc. are provided, and it can accommodate up to 6 people (two bathrooms). If more people want to stay, the ground floor offers an additional spacious apartment – after consultation with Georgios – which also provides this option. We spent most of the year there just the two of us and our dogs, but we often had family and friends visit and everyone loved it.

The house has no electricity connection, but it does have a perfectly functioning small PV system with battery storage. This is sufficient for daily needs if you plan a little and only use large appliances when the sun is shining.

Georgios is a very friendly, helpful young man who is always prepared to make your stay as much comfortable and uncomplicated as possible, even though he rarely travels from Athens.

The neighbours, although a little further away, are also extremely friendly and helpful.

We can highly recommend this house to anyone planning a longer stay in Greece, or even just one or two weeks or just over the weekend. Kalamata Airport is just 30 driving minutes away.
