Let me begin with the best feature of this place: the view. The whole bay is visible from the terrace of the apartment and from sunset to the night it's enchantingly beautiful. You will never get tired of it, or of the silence that reigns through the whole day. The view and the silence are hands down what you will need, along with the comfort of the apartment: spacious, recently repainted and clean upon arrival, it was what we needed. Another great thing is the terrace: you can have early breakfasts there, or dinners, and it will be better than any taverna on the seaside (all of them overpriced and overrated). The kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, pans and glassware, personally I would add a bigger knife for bread, some kitchen-use paper and a cutting board. The pool is very pretty and useful when you do not wish to go elsewhere, just enjoying the day with a cool drink and the above mentioned beautiful view. It could be a bit cleaner, as it tends to get filled with bees and small leaves - but then again this is a family managed place and not everything can be controlled. For us, it was just fine. You will find some coffee and sugar in the kitchen, dishwashing soap - and some ice and water in the fridge (thank you!) - but some oil, salt and pepper would be welcome too, especially if you're there for 4-5 days and can't possibly use the whole bottle of it. But these are details, and we managed just fine. The beds were comfortable and there were extra pillows and blankets, very good: it can get chilly in the evening, which is great, as during the day the sun is overwhelming. The shower pressure was great, another big plus. There was air-conditioning that worked perfectly. The furniture was all quite new and tasteful for a vacation home, so the reviews saying it was old and falling to peaces aren't exactly right. The owner is very kind and speaks Italian and English, so it will be easy to communicate.||Now the bad: The wi-fi is NOT available in the whole structure. We had an apartment on the first floor and there was no chance to connect, not even the faintest signal. When confronted, the owner just suggested that we get down in the patio (common area), which would be fine (despite the fact that I would have preferred to work on my computer on my own terrace) IF the wifi wasn't advertised as available through the WHOLE place. That was one of the key features when we booked, and we were disappointed quite a lot: in today's age it's a no-no. So you either declare wi-fi in common areas, or in the whole structure - but you can't just smile and say, ok, get down to the patio, because that's not what it's advertised and not what we are paying for. We had 4 nights and not once the apartment was cleaned. The owner said that the day before our departure the cleaning would take place, but nothing happened. We even had to ask for extra toilet paper, as not even that was provided with frequency. If you're paying 120€ per night for a two bedroom apartment, the cleaning is NOT an optional and should be offered at least once every 2-3 days. Another thing that left us baffled was the absence of assistance. On a sunday it is perfectly understandable - but monday and tuesday (during our stay) there was nobody to assist you at the "reception". The owner was absent and his two daughters too: on the day of departure we went away around 10:30 in the morning and nobody was there to collect the key, which we left in the apartment door - despite the fact that we paid the bill the night before (finding the owner by chance, as we looked for him during the day) and were assured someone would be in reception in the morning.
