VILLAS Maria Ρούμελη — Hotel in Municipality of Milopotamos

The villa itself was lovely, clean and very well equipped. We were also given a fab starter pack of things you will need (dishwasher tabs, bread, juice etc) The only reason I knocked off a star was because of the erratic hot water. There were 6 of us staying and we often had to put up with very tepid showers. I don't know if there was an electric booster heater? If so, we didn't know about it. Another note on the walled grounds - they are so so nice with lovely grass, kids toys, a nice pool for a dip and a fantastic outside covered eating area. Love the walls around the perimeter - makes it a great place for kids to play so long as you watch them around the pool! Once you close the gate across the drive you are completely shut in. Brilliant! The location itself doesn't have great views, but the local supermarket is only 2 mins walk away and is actually overlooked from one of the villa balconies - so...

Επισκεφτήκαμε τη Villa Roumeli πριν μερικά χρόνια για πρώτη φορά με κάτι φίλους και πλέον κάθε χρόνο πάμε!! Τι να πρωτοσχολιάσω, την καθαριότητα, το πόσο προσεγμένα είναι όλα μέσα, το πόσο ζεστή ατμόσφαιρα δημιουργεί όλος ο χώρος!! Καταρχάς μόλις μπαίνει κάποιος μέσα, τον περιμένουν ένα σωρό κεράσματα από την τοπική κουζίνα, φτιαγμένα τις περισσότερες φορές από τη γλυκιά Μαρία, (ιδιοκτήτρια της βίλας), ρακή, μεζέδες κ.α. Σε ειδικό ράφι οδηγοί για μέρη που μπορεί να επισκεφτεί κανείς στη γύρω περιοχή αλλά και γενικότερα στην Κρήτη. Οι χώροι διακοσμημένοι άψογα με πολλή λεπτομέρεια, όλα πολύ καθαρά, τα δωμάτια, το μπάνιο, τα πάντα! Και τέλος μια πισίνα πεντακάθαρη και ένας πολύ όμορφος και ήσυχος χώρος έξω για να απολαύσεις το barbecue σου. Το τοπίο άγριο και ήρεμο μαζί, με απέραντη θέα στην ομορφιά του νησιού. Το συστήνω ανεπιφύλακτα για κάθε είδους αποδράσεις, για οικογένεια, για παρέα, για ζευγάρια, ακόμα και για κάποιον που...
