Metohi Nature Living — Hotel in Municipality of Minoa Pediados

😊: I booked Metohi Nature Living for 3 nights on very short notice after a terrible Airbnb experience and my first night in Crete. I'm very glad I chose this place - the hosts were incredibly helpful and accommodating and really made me feel comfortable. I was able to properly relax for the first time since arriving on the island, and it served as an excellent base for my two day trips in Eastern Crete.

Thank you so much to the hosts for accommodating me - my stay formed a very memorable part of my trip and I'd like to come back one day!. 😢: It's very hard to fault this place! If I were to be picky, I'd say two things stood out to me:

There's no parking available at the property itself, and no guidance is given to suggest where you should park. I easily found a spot just off the road around the corner, but it was a small amount of hassle to figure out. The pool isn't heated, so I didn't use it in the few days I was here. I think this is actually quite common in Crete so I don't fault the owners. Besides, I stayed in September and it had rained early in my stay, so the water was probably much cooler than it was a month...

😊: The house is beautiful and very cool to stay in such historical building. The view is great and the place is very private. The host was very nice , told us about the history of the place and prepared very good and generous breakfast. We had luck as there was a festival in the village near by and we went there - was nice atmosphere , live music, people gave us to taste for free different things.. 😢: Would be nice if pool was heated , we couldn't use it because it was too cold in the evenings and it was the only time we had in the villa. Also would be nice to have some basic kitchen supply to prepare tea and coffee , but most of the time host was there to help with...

Historic property - 600 years olds, now renovated. Very very very special experience- vast valley & mountain views from the pool and deck. Spotlessly kept- Cretan hospitality! Generous food cooked for guests. Family is friendly generous, lovely. Interesting drives close by. Highly...
