Located on one of the most beautiful spots on Lesvos and surrounded by olive tree groves. Gera's Olive Grove is a well-maintained and wonderful place to enjoy a relaxed holiday away from the maddening crowds. There are various types of accomodation available incl. private villas with breathtaking views of the Gera Bay and the hills across the bay.||Breakfast is filling and ample with many fresh local produce provided and can be enjoyed either on a large outdoor patio or indoors. The animals of the estate are truly wonderful and gentle, including a horse, two donkies, goats, cats and three adorable dogs. As for beaches, foodmarts and eateries there are quite a few along the road hugging the bay the nearest one, albeit modest, being across the road from the hotel. ||||The olive press museum in nearby Pappados should not be missed. Other attactions fairly closeby include the Roman Aquaduct near Lambou Mili off the main road to Kalloni and the towns of Agiassos and Plomari. Tarti beach is also...

The way to Gera may seem a bit far away from the centrum at first - and the road is a bit bumpy and dark at nights; but after you get to know the island you will also think that it is one of the best places to stay in Lesvos. %100 recommended. (It was very hard to get the signal for the Wi-Fi at the room we stayed. A booster must certainly be bought by the hotel. That was the only negative thing during the whole...
