Iris Gogo House — Hotel in Municipality of Nafplio

A really bad experience unfortunately. We came to see the place since we were around traveling. We needed a place for a week starting the next day. We were me and my wife with our 2 year old toddler and my mother in law. The hostess said to us no problem, come tomorrow morning with cash and take it for a week. We've asked twice! if they want us to book it through booking.com on the spot, and they said no need, Just come tomorrow and we'll wait for you here. They were so nice and welcoming and there for we've trusted them that everything is OK. They didn't asked for a telephone number or email. The next morning we've called them to let them know we're on our way in our car to check in. They acted really cold, and told us that we can't come because after we've left the day before, another family booked it through booking.com. They told us there's nothing they can do. We've suggested that they will contact booking.com or the other family and try to figure it out, they told us they are afraid it will hurt their ratings on booking.com!!!!!! How can you be so careless and just throw people (with a baby and an old lady) to the street with no place stay and no bad to sleep on? So they basically ignored our reservation completely, gave it to someone else, did not do anything about it or apologize and didn't care whatsoever about what is going to happen to us. Instead, just told us to go find another place to stay. Now just imagine being in our situation, and please think twice before booking a stay...

The host made a double booking, and even though we made the reservation first, they told us to leave. We came to see the house a day before, they showed us politely every little thing and said it’s available for us. We approved and arranged to meet the next day 11am. They didn’t even took our phone number or email. They told us a few times to NOT make a reservation in booking.com, so we’ll pay in cash during the check in. We got there the next day with our two years old toddler, grandma and all of our luggage and cash, but didn’t get the apartment! The sad part is that they said they don’t want to talk to booking.com and cancel the other reservation because it might hurt their rate! They said “just find something else”....

וואו. איזו חווייה מדהימה! המארחים הכי טובים, נחמדים, אכפתיים, רגישים, מנומסים ומתחשבים שפגשנו אי פעם. נשארנו בדירתם תקופה ארוכה של מספר שבועות וזכינו להכיר אותם לעומק. קיבלנו יחס הרבה מעבר למצופה וכן אינסוף פינוקים לרבות דבש, יין, ריבות, זיתים, עוגות ועוגיות ומטעמים נוספים. הניקיון והתחזוקה של הבית ללא רבב. הבית בטיחותי לילדים ומותאם מבחינת מיטת תינוק וכיסא לתינוק. יש חצר נעימה עם פרחים, עצים וצמחי תבלין. הבית מצוייד במוצרי חשמל לרבות מכונת כביסה, מיקרוגל, תנור, מדיח כלים, מכונת קפה, מזגנים והסקה יעילה. כמו כן יש בנמצא נייר טואלט, טבליות מדיח, טבליות כביסה, מוצרי ניקיון ועוד ועוד כך שתגלו שלא חסר לכם דבר כשתגיעו. בנוסף בעלי הבית החביבים השאירו מידע מפורט על הסביבה הקרובה כולל המלצות לחופי רחצה, מסלולי טיול, חנויות, מסעדות, בתי מרקחת ומרפאות למקרה הצורך. כל בקשה או שאלה נענו במיידי ותמיד בחביבות. מדובר במקום מושלם לאירוח של משפחות בכל תקופות השנה לאירוח קצר או ארוך. כמובן שקראנו את כל התגובות באתר טרם הגעתנו. הופתענו מאוד לגלות תגובה שלילית בין התגובות החיוביות פה אחד, ובדיעבד אנחנו סבורים שמדובר בטעות כי אין שום סיכוי שבעלי בית כה אכפתיים, קפדניים בכל הקשור לאירוח ונחמדים היו יכולים לנהוג באופן השלילי שתואר בתגובה השלילית היחידה שמצויינת כאן. אי לכך ממליצים להתייחס אליה בעירבון מוגבל. לסיכום, ממליצים בחום ובאחריות על אירוח במקום האירוח הנ"ל בטוחים שתזכו באנרגיות חיוביות ואף מרפאות גוף ונפש כמו...
