I understand this is personal opinion, but this place is not worth the price charged. I recommend you look for other accommodations before booking this one.
We paid $400 USD a night for this place and it was so bad we checked out after 1 night and found better accommodations elsewhere. We asked for a refund on the nights remaining, but knew we weren’t going to get a full refund and that’s ok.
The owners mentioned we didn’t give them a chance to fix the issues, but I’m sorry, when I travel far and pay many hundreds of dollars a night I expect better quality than this and not having to work through resolving issues during my stay. Had the hotel been cheaper, then that would be ok. We decided to find better accommodations elsewhere for roughly the same price.
Issues we experienced:
Very strong urine / sewage smell outside the unit. Borderline unbearable one time we came back. I realize this may not be the fault of the owner, but certainly is off putting
WiFi was too slow to be usable, even sitting right beside the router
Probably the most important issue: the mattress and pillows were so uncomfortable that it was hard to sleep. The owners mentioned the bed is brand new, but the newness doesn’t matter here - its quality does. We expected better for the price
Overall quality of the unit is not as nice as the photos would have you think
Location is ok but at that price you can find much better.
We checked out and messaged the host our feedback. They were very defensive and upset we did not give them a chance to fix it. Maybe you would be ok with this, but for us, we don’t want to work through problems at our unit at that price level.
I urge you to just look a bit more at other options on Naxos before booking this. We found better accommodations even at high season for a better price.
Maybe you will have a good experience here, the reviews seem to indicate other people have enjoyed their stay. But at this price level, our expectations of the accommodations are higher than what we experienced.
I hope the owners learn to take feedback well in the future and improve their property...

Our stay in Naxos was perfect! We got engaged during our trip and we couldn’t have hoped for a better accommodation. It’s very private and calm which made it very easy to relax in the pool or in the cabana. They were a few people in the suites next to us but we actually felt alone most of the time since it’s so quiet. The AC was also highly appreciated as they were a few really hot days when we were here. The kitchen is small but it had enough for the few meals we did at home.
Dimitris and Katerina were wonderful hosts, and left us some baked goods on multiple occasions. We felt welcomed right away and they helped us any time we needed. For example, they provided a beach umbrella so we didn’t have to buy one during the stay.
The location is a bit further from Naxos town but closer to other mountain villages, and other wonderful beach area like Mikri Vigla and Alyko/Hawaii beach which I would definitely recommend to get away from crowds. There’s a supermarket and restaurants a few minutes away by car (for example, Manolis Farm is really good). Definitely rent a car if you choose this place, and a good one too to drive the hill when coming in.
We would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and recharge in a quiet place! We felt so comfortable that we could have skipped on some exploration just to enjoy more time relaxing...
