It is as if the owner completed the hotel and then left for ever. The past reviews on Tripadvisor seem odd. The hotel is run by seasonal workers from Athens and as you would expect they go through the motions, without much enthusiasm.||The gardens - are not tended. Plants are dead or just clinging on and weeds thrive.|The rooms - are pleasant, except that the air-conditioning does no cope with the summer heat and the wifi is very patchy. The two sets of curtains in our room seemed to be there for the mere purpose of terrorising guests. The wood hoops on a wooden rod might look good but the curtains cannot be moved, unless one stand on a chair and moves each hoop manually. The fridge works well.|The breakfast - It is terrible. Terrible because staff just do the same thing day in day out, as if guests do not exist. If something runs out there is no back up. It will be there tomorrow until it runs out again tomorrow. The lack of selection of fruit was particularly irksome. Watermelon and more watermelon, tasteless at that. The daily offering was cut up watermelon plus a bowl of off the shelf fruit that was hard as the granite rocks of Naxos. The orange juice dispenser was emblematic, because the glasses provided were too tall for the spout. Guests were required to tilt the glass and so orange juice went in the glass and all over the counter. Yesterday, we arrived to breakfast to find two ends of the ring piece of bread supplied and today there they were in their rigid state........the bread arrived by motorbike just as breakfast was finishing for the day. ||If you enjoy tasteless watermelon day after day, you will be happy at Naxos...
Read moreMy stay at Naxos Earth Suites was a joy from start to finish, creating an unforgettable experience steeped in Grecian beauty and hospitality. The hotel itself is a testament to modern design and comfort, with facilities that marry luxury with a delightful sense of homeliness.
The staff members are the heart and soul of Naxos Earth Suites. Their kindness and helpfulness went above and beyond, making my stay not just comfortable, but truly heartwarming. They treated me not as a guest, but as part of their Naxos Earth Suites family.
As for the facilities, the word "brand new" does not quite encapsulate their brilliance. The design is aesthetically pleasing and innovative, adding an exquisite touch to the overall ambiance of the hotel.
The pool, however, deserves a special mention. Overlooking the serene Aegean sea, it offered a breathtaking view that got even better as the moon made its nightly ascent. This awe-inspiring vista, coupled with the cool waters of the pool, made for a mesmerizing experience.
In summary, Naxos Earth Suites is more than just a hotel - it's an experience. It's a place where the warmth of the staff, the charm of the facilities, and the majesty of the Greek landscapes converge to create an indelible memory. If you're looking for the epitome of comfort, design, and hospitality in Naxos, you'll find it at Naxos...
Read moreSpent 6 nights here. The 2 people that are running the hotel on a daily basis (from the reception and administrative tasks to making coffee and preparing breakfast) are doing an excellent job. Very kind and efficient. The hotel premises (rooms, pool etc) are simple and clean. However, I found it weird that they weren’t giving towels for the beach. I wonder who travels with beach towels anymore. Breakfast is very basic, only eggs and bread are fresh (made in the morning). The rest is prepackaged cheese, ham and crackers. Given the amazing products that Naxos has to offer it’s such a pity not to have local produce available. The fact that any coffee(apart from filter coffee) is charged extra at breakfast doesn’t really go along with Greek hospitality. It seems more like “Ryanair approach” instead. One of the days of our stay, the owner decided to have a party at the hotel, around the pool from around 3pm until 10pm. The music was super loud the whole time and the common areas could not be used at all that that day. We were not aware of this when booking the hotel! If we knew in advance we wouldn’t be staying here. Having a baby with us made the situation harder. We expected a refund for that day but the hotel owner didn’t seem to agree. Instead he offered us the laundry and a few coffees we had...
