Paradise studios — Hotel in Municipality of Naxos and the Lesser Cyclades

The name of this apartment accurately describes it. This was a lovely place to stay - clean, modern and very well equipped. Our view from the balcony was gorgeous, the two Aircon units kept us cool in the hot summer heat, and the couple who own and run the studios are lovely. We were greeted with a short tour of the apartment along with a bottle of homemade wine and a jar of marmalade. They even provided a free (yes - free!) laundry service when we asked if we could have some clothes washed. This is also a quiet area with a beach that does not get too busy, and the restaurant downstairs was very good. No complaints whatsoever - this was one of the best places we have...

Consigliatissimo!!!! Un paradiso sulla terra Location meravigliosa, di fronte mare blu turchese con vista sul mare su una delle spiagge più belle e tranquille di Naxos. La spiaggia è a sud e quindi riparata dai venti forti ma sempre ventilata. Camera pulitissima e ampia con aria condizionata, tv, angolo cottura con frigo e freezer, tavolo e sedie, terrazzo con tavolino e due sedie e lo stendino …una vista incredibile sulla spiaggia e sul mare. Arrivati ci ha fatto trovare frutta fresca e il vino che produce il fantastico proprietario Stefano. Wifi sempre disponibile. Il bagno era finestrato e i prodotti da bagno per la doccia erano forniti tutti i giorni. Nell'angolo cottura c’era una tostiera, un bollitore, una macchina per il caffè americano e tutto il necessario per cucinare (tazze, bicchieri, pentole, scolapasta, coltelli, forchette, ecc) anche olio, sale e zucchero. Pulizia giornaliera fatta alla perfezione con cambio asciugamani. Asciugacapelli compreso. Letto molto comodo, su richiesta di possono chiedere cuscini aggiuntivi e coperte. Il parcheggio privato è sotto alla struttura ed è gratuito. Consigliato il noleggio di un auto per arrivare e muoversi più facilmente. Il proprietario Stefano è gentilissimo ed è sempre disponibile per qualsiasi necessità. Ci ha aiutato per un problema avuto con il viaggio di ritorno, chiamando lui stesso l’agenzia di viaggi e facendoci da traduttore. Fantastico! Sotto la struttura c’è una taverna gestita dalla famiglia di Stefanos. Si mangia sotto gli alberi con una vista meravigliosa sul mare ma hanno anche posto all’interno. A wonderful place for those seeking peace and quiet. The apartment was beautiful, very well equipped, and located right on the beach. Falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night was just magical!

There are a few tavernas in the area – not all of them were open, as we visited after the season – but the emptiness only added to the sense of calm and serenity.

You do need a car to explore the island, but it’s easy to get to Chora or Chaliko for dinner.
