Nikos & Patra House — Hotel in Municipality of Nea Propontida

A quiet place not to be missed. Everything was wonderful. The cottage is on the beach in the village of Nea Triglia, a small farming town 55 km (about 45 minutes by car) from Thessaloniki. It is not a crowded tourist area, in that place there is only one larger accommodation facility, Elia Apartments, otherwise the vast majority of people in that area are locals. Near the cottage there is a bar (100 m) and a tavern (250 m). 6 minutes by car there is a supermarket where you can find anything. At 7-8 minutes by car is the village of Nea Triglia where there are several taverns (I recommend Giannis Tavern), cafes and bakeries/patisseries/confectioneries and the best thing is that you will rarely meet foreign tourists in the area. The cottage consists of two rooms, a bathroom and a kitchen located in the living room. There is air conditioning, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need (electric stove, oven, dishes, cutlery, etc.), the bathroom is large and has a shower cabin, sink and toilet bowl. All things in the house are new and quite modern. The strong point of the location is the terrace that offers you a wonderful view of the Aegean Sea. Practically, you don't even need to stay on the beach, it is enough that after a swim in the sea you sit on the terrace or on a deck chair in the yard and enjoy the view and the surrounding tranquility. The owners are wonderful people, the name of the property comes from the oldest family members Nikos and Patra. The one in charge of the property is their son Petros, a wonderful guy who is at your disposal with anything you need. I have rarely seen a man who works all day and always has a smile on his face. These people complement the wonderful place and the peaceful atmosphere of Nea Plagia. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to recharge their batteries, enjoy the quiet life in the Greek countryside and meet beautiful and friendly people. Here you can find everything you need, good accommodation, the beach in front of the house and not crowded, good food, friendly people... and not to forget, fresh vegetables from Nikos and Pedros' garden. It's a shame to miss out on...
