Blue Horizon Suites — Hotel in Municipality of North Kynouria

Best hotel in Greece on our 23 day round trip. Stunning view! An absolutely stunning view over the Mediterenian Sea, part of the coastline and the mountains. We can truly recommend this wonderful boutique hotel.

We stayed in the turqoise suite on the 3rd level. But all suites have stunning unblocked views to the sea.

Huge porches and all suites have private gardens. Good beds and sofas.

The breakfast is delicious. Though it is served in a very small area the selection is big and freshly made. All breakfast tables and sunbeds have amazing views to the sea. Even when you are in the pool or the jacuzzi you have a splendid view.

Very clean and spacious suites. Nice kitchen and dining table both inside and outside in the shade. All suites face east/south so you will enjoy the morning sun and some nice shade in the hot afternoon.

The maid service is daily and very attentive. The staff are so nice, attentive and helpfull. They really make an effort to make you feel at home.

You might have figured it out already… but since everybody have a stunning view you are quite high up. And there are some stairs to walk! And a very steep driveway not for inexperienced drivers.

The beach can be reached walking down the mountain on a small steep dirt path. In july in 36 degrees it is pretty strenous! But the beach is worth it all! You share almost 700 meters of natural beach with 6 other people! The beach consists of small pebles and some larger stones but walk in your sandals to the edge of the water and step out in the water on the softest sand!! All of the bay is pure soft sand with no stones or rocks under water! There are no seaurchins and the water is warm and crystal clear. Further out there is nice eelgrass which is proof of a healthy bay. You can snorkel along the coast to either side. You can visit the beach on your right side or just experience the beautifull coastline and some sealife.

The hotel has no neighbourgs on either side so no noise or music.

Great restaurants in Paralio Astros (Zorba) (9 minutes drive) and a nice supermarket and luxury bakery in Astros (8 minutes drive)

Suggestions: a beach umbrella in every room to bring to the beach. 2 sunbeds on the porch instead of the 2 deck chairs would be great!

We had such wonderful stay at Blue Horizon Suites! Amazing apartment with stunning sea views. The beds are great, air conditioning in every room, large bathroom, and the amazing balcony was a great place to relax in the shade later in the afternoon. Lovely pool with very comfortable loungers. The owners are extremely welcoming and kind, and breakfast is delicious with lots of home-made items. We felt absolutely at home. There is a beautiful beach down the hill, quite a steep climb if you have to walk back up, with no sunbeds and parasols, and there are several other beaches nearby that do have facilities. The kitchen has sufficient appliances if you want to cook your own meals, and there are plenty of restaurants in Paralio Astros or other villages along the coast.
