Kumquart — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

We stayed at Kumquart estate for a week with family and friends and rented all the apartments. We had the time of our lifes! The place is beautifully placed amongst hills with amazing nature surrounding the estate. It's peaceful and so idyllic. The swimming pool is a great size! Apartments are modern, clean and have anything you can think of to make your stay comfortable. There is a washing room as well with all the detergents and even sun creams available. We organized a BBQ one night with a wonderful host, Alexandra which exceeded our expectations. The place is 5mins drive from a beautiful, long beach and in close proximity to Afionas, Paleokastritsa and Northern Corfu (Cape Drastis). We simply loved the place but most of all the people who own it - Alex and Nico who put all their hearts to improve and keep the place to the highest standards. I'd highly recommend it for a relaxing stay in Corfu....

Alexandra was very accommodating of us last minute when the other Airbnb we booked turned out not to be suitable for our 9 month old baby. Kumquart on the other hand is a lovely place to bring a little one. It came with a lovely cot, toys, baby towels and toiletries, and a high quality high chair. They even supplied a separate high chair we could take to restaurants. The atmosphere is very relaxed and Alexandra is always available to help out. On our last night she and her family cooked a delicious 3 course Greek feast, complete with baby suitable options. A paid for extra, but well worth it for home made authenticity. The closest we could come to getting an invite to a Greek dinner party! My only criticism is that our kitchen (in Lemon) was a bit cramped which made it slightly awkward to make proper meals...

I had a magical stay at Kumquart recently as part of a yoga retreat. I stayed in the Mandarin apartment which was extremely comfortable and peaceful with beautiful views. I loved the open dining area and the pool is gorgeous! I took advantage of the bikes available on several days to cycle to St George beach along the peaceful lanes and fields to enjoy the beautiful beach, boat trips to neighbouring islands, the tavernas and shops. Alexandra, Mike, Nicos and the team could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We were lucky enough to have Mike's wonderful vegetarian and vegan cooking and Alexandra's explanations and tours of the local area and it's history as part of our experience.
