Maria's Paradise — Hotel in Municipality of Northern Corfu

You are welcomed by the friendliest people. It's a beautiful location with sea views and close to a couple of beaches. You can walk it if you like but going back up might not be ideal at the end of the day, especially with younger kids. It's only a 1 min drive. We walked it most times.

You fall asleep and wake up with the sound of the waves (and some lovely chickens). The owners bring by fresh eggs, snacks, pastries and vegetables from the garden occasionally.

The playgrounds on the property are great for the kids and they love the chickens and rabbits.

We love the peace and quiet of it. The apartments are basic but nice and very clean.

There are a handful of tavernas nearby with great food options. All of the nicest beaches are with a 5 to 20 min drive, depending where you go.

We've been here for a week with kids a this is a clean 5. Would give 6 if possible. Super friendly people, were nice apartments with every single detail thinked through. Das ist ein wunderbarer Ort sich zu erholen, den wir durch Zufall entdeckt haben! Wir kamen in der Nebensaison, ohne Ankündigung. Maria und ihre liebenswerte und sehr gut englisch sprechende Tochter Vaso haben erstmal für uns ein Appartment hergerichtet und alles blitzeblank geputzt! Der Ausblick, der wundervolle Garten ein Traum. Nachts hört man das Meer leise rauschen es ist wie der Name schon sagt ein Paradis. Die Nähe zu einem kleinen idyllischen Strand hat uns überrascht. Dieser ist, solange das Wetter taugt, mit einem sehr liebenswerten Strandwart mit Liegen und dezenter Bewirtung auch erschlossen, was wir als sehr angenehm empfunden haben, da man sich so abseits der Touristen Hotspots trotzdem gut aufgehoben fühlt. Ein grösserer Strandabschnitt liegt hinter dem kleinen Hafen. Wie beschrieben eine kleine Bucht mit flachem Wasser für Kinder ein Traum. Die Appartments sind einfach und gut ausgestattet. Wir sind ebenfalls schon in den wunderbaren Genuss gekommen von Maria einen korfiotischen, warm und duftenden Apfelkuchen bekommen zu haben, sowie die griechischen Lokomanes. Sehr herzlich und familiär. Alle paar Tage werden Handtücher gewechselt, Betten frisch bezogen und nochmal grundgereinigt, ein Service der gerade zu Corona Zeiten eher außergewöhnlich ist!
