Beautiful small hotel set in olive groves in the hills. Close to Chania and all the attractions in the area but quiet and peaceful and far from the crowds and mass tourism. There are only 6 rooms and you can see what they're like because the photos in on their website are true to life. They all look lovely but we stayed in the Thalassa suite which I think was the nicest room. We had a private verandah where our breakfast was served and it had the perfect temperature to relax and read until nearly noon before the sun came around. I enjoyed the swimming pool though I didn't try the jacuzzi. We were there for 9 nights and were kept busy with a list of attractions that Konstantina prepared for us. The restaurant suggestions were perfect for us - Elia Thea had the best Melitzanosalata, Biolea was an exciting drive and perfect views for an exquisite lunch and we had the freshest seafood at Argentina Kepekis in Kolimvari. It felt really central to a lot of places and we went to Paleochora on the south coast, Balos Lagoon (quite a rocky drive and a strenuous climb back up), the botanical gardens which is on the site of the 2003 fire (trees and fruit from all over the world) and Aptera ruins. We took about 25 mins to get into Chania which had a lot of restaurants but was quite busy for parking. Didn't do everything on our list as we also wanted time to chill.|Would definitely recommend staying here. The rooms are beautifully appointed, our hosts were so kind and generous and the ladies who cleaned and served breakfast were friendly and sweet and kept the...
Read moreIn end of September my husband, our 1 and a half year old son and me staid 1 week at Evge’s. It was our second holiday on Crete and this hotel was what I have always looking for. Our Intension of traveling was and still is to travel to countries to get in touch with the people and the culture. So if you share that Intension then Evge is the perfect place for you. It is not located in a village full of hotel buildings. You are driving through a small village and then turning into a street where you are not sure if it is right or not. You will leave the village behind and the street winds its way through the olive Hains. Then you will arrive at Evge’s. Such a peaceful place where your holiday can begin immediately. We have been welcomed by Konstantina. Such a warm welcome. She gave us some tips where we could go for dinner or which places we could visit. The hotel itself is new and everything was fine. If you had any questions or issues everyone was super friendly and helpful. It is a small place of high quality standard.
Greece is not only about having Gyros And Ouzo and laying 24/7 at the beach. It is about these beautiful olive Hains, meeting super friendly, helpful people which loves it to bring you in touch with their country with all different flavors and landscapes full of history . And even traveling with a small kid - Greece people are so family friendly and loving kids. It is not comparable to German people.
Wishing you all the best for your hotel and appreciate to visit you again soon.
A lot of greetings - Mareike,...

The hotel is located in a peaceful area – in my opinion, having a car makes it easier to get around and explore the island. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and well maintained. The rooms were spacious, stylish, and spotless. Housekeeping came every day while we were out on day trips, and everything was always perfectly tidy when we returned.
We stayed in the Etheras room, which came with its own rooftop terrace and jacuzzi – absolutely perfect! Every morning, the staff brought breakfast directly to our terrace, which quickly became one of the highlights of our stay. The service was excellent throughout, always friendly and thoughtful.
Parking was very easy right in front of the hotel on the street. A special thank you to Konstantina and Kyriakos, who were incredibly kind, helpful, and full of great recommendations about the island. Thanks to them, our holiday felt extra smooth and truly special.
All in all, this hotel was the perfect choice – clean, beautiful, well cared for, and filled with genuine hospitality. I highly recommend it to everyone, and I would definitely come back...
