Palazzo Loupassi Boutique villas — Hotel in Municipality of Platanias

While the breakfast was really nice, and the place could provide an escape from life, it's extremely hard to find, treacherous narrow roads where a 4x4 is required, we almost slid down the mountain on the wet muddy roads. With a GPS and Google Maps it's still a near-death experience getting there. No hot water for our entire stay - freezing cold showers. ||There is nothing in the area, no restaurants or bars or entertainment, so they charge crazy prices for drinks. Hosts don't speak English (only Italian and Greek). The only "window" in the rooms is a 30x30cm (1 square foot) wide glass brick in the wall. It's very dark inside during day and night time. No toiletries are provided (no shampoo, no body wash). ||Our booking was non-refundable, else we would certainly go somewhere else. They accept Only Cash. The photos are much better than reality. Only the King Suite has a bathtub, all others only shower. This was the most expensive hotel of our trip, and also the worst of all. They didn't offer any discount for the hot water problem, but still asked us for good reviews. There are many better places to stay in the area, this place...

The place is built in the middle of nowhere but is only 15 minutes from the beach by car.||Luxury to all of the equipment, from the mattresses till the chandeliers and a really lovely pool and surroundings until the last detail.||Absolutely quiet and relaxing place if you choose to, as the owners arrange the music at your taste. They are so friendly and helpful that it feels like home. The breakfast was also different, with Cretan homemade delicacies served at your table.||Our only problem was that our room was very small (around 10m2) as we were given only the bedroom of a suite, but it was ok for one night. Abbiamo alloggiato io e il mio ragazzo in questo meraviglioso posto per una settimana.|Appena arrivati, il proprietario, gentile e simpatico,ci ha subito offerto un bicchiere di raki(liquore tipico di Creta).|L'esterno assomiglia molto a un castello in mezzo al verde e l'interno è molto curato.|Avevamo una suite per due, molto spaziosa, accessoriata di tutto e veniva pulita tutti i giorni!|La colazione era molto abbondante sia dolce che salata e veniva servita dalla moglie e la figlia, entrambe dolcissime e disponibili in ogni momento.|La piscina esterna sempre pulitissima e se si vuole rilassarsi questo è il posto migliore!!|La posizione, all'inizio, non mi sembrava il massimo, ma mi sono dovuta ricredere grazie ai pochi km dalla piccola e semplice cittadina di Kissamos e la città movimentata di Chania.
