Eftopia — Hotel in Municipality of Pylos and Nestor

Where shall I start with my review? I do not know, since I am left speechless after my holidays spent in Eftopia. The place is stunning. It has this Bali, Mexico vibe. It is a perfect spot to run away from crowds, but at the same time to be close to some resorts if you feel like being among people. I have chosen this place because I play golf and Eftopia is perfectly located close to all 4 courses in Costa Navarino. Then I realized that Eftopia is so good for so many more reasons. It is a very stylish place – the interior, but also gardens are built with a great attention to details. When you arrive, you are being surprised with a bowl full of fresh fruit and then in the fridge, there are also some extras that make you smile. There is a big flat screen, if you feel like watching Netflix or anything else, but seriously – in this place this will be the last thing you want to do. You have comfy sunbeds to lie down and read a book in a quiet atmosphere, you have yoga mats to practice at sunrises or sunsets, a big table outside to have a romantic dinner and a cute jacuzzi to cool down in the heat of Greece. We reserved a villa at Eftopia, Pylos, Navarino Bay, Greece.

After a 40 minute drive from Kalamata Airport, the approach to the property was through glorious olive trees into serene and aesthetically pleasing eco-designed villas among more olive trees. The villas are breathtaking. The accommodation has been designed and arranged to afford each villa with maximum privacy and with every last detail considered. The villas are spacious, comfortable, decorated to a very high standard with fully equipped kitchen and beautiful products in our drench shower room.

Dave and Angie were terrific hosts and were on hand to welcome us and take us to our villa. The fridge was stocked with a great bottle of local wine, which we devoured in the our very own splash pool, what a start to a splendid holiday.

Please make sure you make friends with Juno, Suki and Kiki - the resident animals on the property - you won’t regret meeting them.

Alice, the local masseuse, who works in conjunction with our Dave and Angie, gave me simply the best head, neck and back massage I have EVER had and I’ve had a few!

We had the most amazing stay at Eftopia this August. The apartment was everything we could have hoped for and more. The stylish interior with its minimal design and architecture gave off such a modern and luxurious vibe. But what truly stole our heart was the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Pylos that we woke up to every morning – absolutely stunning!

The modern amenities provided in the apartment were a cherry on top, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The small pool was a delightful addition, perfect for a refreshing dip during the sunny afternoons. However, what truly set this place apart were the hosts, Angie and David. Their hospitality was beyond compare. They catered to our every need with a smile, making sure we felt welcomed and at home throughout our stay.
