Review We rented this beautiful spa complex for a large family holiday July 2023. It was an absolutely perfect venue and location, and the hosts couldn’t have been more helpful, responsive and professional. The villas on the complex are decorated to a very high standard, the beds and bedrooms are very clean and comfortable, each with en suite, AC and plenty of storage. Our villas received 2 interval cleans during our fortnight stay.

The living areas, and outdoor relaxation spaces are plentiful so even large groups like ours could spread out and the place still felt huge. It really addd to a sense of peace and relaxation.

We had a daily visit by the host team each morning to clean the pool and deliver fresh vegetables from the garden, and we were also offered a free locally made traditional Greek meal one night a week during our two-week stay. These meals were amazing!

The gym was a great addition; clean, spacious, and well equipped with TVs and sound system for use during our workouts.

The gardens and surrounding areas were very relaxing and beautifully kept during our stay; the table tennis table was also a major attraction for our kids!

There were as a little shop and a couple of bars within close walking distance from the villa and also a great taverna that did traditional food that was able to cater at short notice for our large group.

We had the most wonderful stay at Kipo Paradiso! The property is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautifully maintained, and perfectly equipped with everything we could possibly need. Every detail, from the layout to the amenities, was thoughtfully arranged to make our stay feel special and effortless.

A huge thank you to Vaso and Nikos, the lovely brother and sister who own the property. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel at home.

One of the highlights was the delicious homemade moussaka they surprised us with — such a thoughtful and generous gesture! We all enjoyed it so much. And to top it off, they kindly offered us a free late check-out until 8pm, which gave us an extra relaxing day to enjoy the space before leaving. Absolutely amazing!

Communication was smooth from start to finish, and we felt supported the entire time. It was the perfect setting for a family holiday, and we left with such happy memories.

What an amazing find Kipo Paradiso Resort & Spa is! We stayed for a week in September 2025 as part of group on a fitness & wellness retreat and I don’t think you’ll find anywhere better.

The location is great - about 5 minutes walk from the small village, 15 minutes from the larger supermarket and nearest beach (perfect for a lie in the sun or sea swim) and maybe 30 minutes from Rethymno with its lovely old town, harbour (hire a boat +/- a skipper??) and another long and wide white sand beach. Walk and explore the hills behind the villa, maybe catch sunrise or sunset from the monastery about 40 minutes walk from the villa, or drive to the mountains and explore the various gorges. So many options.

The villa, rooms, pool and gardens are beautiful, immaculate and very spacious. It seems the kitchen is really well equipped as it certainly didn’t stop our chef serving up some amazing food. The gym is excellent with a variety of cardio equipment, dumbbells and free weights – all set on a well-cushioned floor. Then to finish off an active day why don’t you arrange a massage from the Kipo team, perfect!
