Manto Villas — Hotel in Municipality of Rethymnon

If you are looking for a dream villa in Crete, this is it!

I have already rented a lot of places via Airbnb and other sites and this one definitely was one of if not the best experience I ever had so far!

First the obvious things:

Everything was spotless when we arrived, 10/10 cleanliness, literally better than in some 5 star hotels I have stayed at!

Next, the whole outdoor area was gorgeous and super well-kept, as well! The pool was fantastic (it can even be heated!) and the jacuzzi was so relaxing, too!

As you can probably tell by the photos yourself, everything is so tastefully designed, as well, both the outside and the interior, great furniture, very high quality finishes and since everything is so new, no wear at all!

The location was perfect too – peaceful and relaxing and a perfect starting point to explore all of the beautiful beaches and towns of Crete from.

But besides all that, the most important: the hospitality! I have never ever felt so taken care of by a host, Emmanouil was so friendly and helpful! He gave us great tips on everything like great local restaurants and beaches, and literally from the moment we arrived to the end of our stay he always made sure we were well taken care of and always had everything we needed!

Again, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay in Crete to recharge our batteries and we’re already planning to come back next year!

If you’re thinking about booking this villa, just do it before it gets booked out! They just started operating a couple months ago, so this is a hidden gem right now, because I have a strong feeling that there will be many guests like us that will not only try to come again themselves, but will also recommend this villa to their relatives and friends like we did, too, so I can only imagine demand will keep going up the more time passes!

He even did a grocery shop for us before we arrived so that we had everything we needed right from the start — such a thoughtful touch! Wir durften mit insgesamt zehn Erwachsenen und sechs kleinen Kindern neun unvergessliche Tage in der Manto Villa auf Kreta verbringen – und es war einfach traumhaft! Schon bei der Ankunft hat uns der Anblick überwältigt: Die Fotos im Internet geben die Wirklichkeit absolut authentisch wieder – und doch wirkt alles vor Ort noch schöner, noch großzügiger, noch einladender.

Die Villa ist perfekt durchdacht und bis ins kleinste Detail ausgestattet. Jedes der Zimmer verfügt über ein eigenes Bad, was für fünf Familien unglaublich praktisch ist und für absolute Privatsphäre sorgt. Alles war makellos sauber, modern und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich. Man merkt sofort, dass hier viel Liebe und Sorgfalt hineingeflossen sind.

Ein absolutes Highlight war die großartige Poolanlage: ein großzügiger Pool mit integriertem Whirlpool, dazu ein separates Becken für die Kleinsten – sicher, sauber und ideal, damit auch Babys und Kleinkinder ausgelassen planschen können. Ergänzt wird das Ganze durch die wunderschöne Outdoor-Area mit gemütlichen Sitzmöglichkeiten, einem eigenen Spielplatz und viel Platz zum Toben. Unsere Kinder haben sich von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt – und wir Erwachsenen konnten die Tage in Ruhe und Entspannung genießen.

Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Gastgeber der Villa. Er ist ein außergewöhnlicher Gastgeber, der wirklich jeden Wunsch erfüllt, noch bevor man ihn ausspricht. Schon bei der Ankunft erwartete uns ein voll ausgestatteter Kühlschrank, ein gedeckter Tisch mit frischem Obst und vielen liebevollen Details, die das Gefühl gaben, sofort willkommen zu sein. Während des gesamten Aufenthalts stand Emanuel jederzeit hilfsbereit und herzlich zur Seite – unaufdringlich, aber immer präsent, wenn man ihn brauchte.

Es fehlte uns an absolut nichts – im Gegenteil: Wir hatten das Gefühl, im Paradies angekommen zu sein. Die Kombination aus traumhafter Lage, perfekter Ausstattung und herzlicher Gastfreundschaft macht die Manto Villa zu einem Ort, an den wir jederzeit zurückkehren möchten.

Fazit: Eine Unterkunft, die man ohne Zögern jedem empfehlen kann – besonders Familien mit Kindern, die Wert auf Komfort, Sauberkeit, Sicherheit und Gastfreundschaft legen. Für uns war es ein absolut perfekter Urlaub, den wir nie...
