In a nutshell - we just love Filoxenia Villas and the quality you enjoy in your holidays whilst unwinding from the world.||As returning and convinced visitors you can tell we were more than happy with our first experience in Filoxenia Villas back in September 2020 where we accidentally discovered this gem in the Southeast of Rhodes, looking for an alternative to a holiday booking in Spain impacted by the Covid-19 crisis. ||What we were able to witness was way beyond expectations :|- a kind of hospitality by the owners, Olga & Andreas, which is unparalleled in our decade-long travel history|- a house you would just want to build the same way, in the same set-up and same build quality your own - no compromises on a vacation seems very unusual and it is|- everything DOES look like on the pictures in reality, maybe even better - an absoulte first for us|- being close enough - 5-30mins drive with the rental - to all amenities like supermarkets, fab restaurants, great beaches, beautiful sights BUT far enough from all the dazzling stuff to enjoy the calm and the peace of living close to the sea and forgetting about everyday life|- a 10m pool in the garden, bio-operated without chemicals, super clean and comfortable to start your day |- a bi-daily check-up by Vladimiros, the good soul of Filoxenia Villas, checking up on the pool, mowing the lawn when needed, watering flowers, taking care of the garbage (which is separated and prepared for recycling!)||When we came back in August 2021 it felt like coming home which for us is the greatest quality a vacation abroad can offer - a home away from home. Everything was neat and clean as you would want to have it in your own house, everything set up perfectly so you can enjoy your stay. Quality throughout - wherever you look and the same high standard kept - Filoxenia lives up to all expectations and delivers beyond those.||For us the most valuable asset - besides the impressive and heartfelt courtesy of the owners, Olga & Andreas - is the calm and the spaces Filoxenia Villas offer. You truly can unwind from a stressful job & life back home and charge your batteries in the Aegean sun.||Let me put it that way - if you want to party, you better end up in the north of Rhodes and go to Faliraki (or similar). Rhodes was not a place on my bucket list of must see’s but unexpectedly I fell in love with the beautiful and manifold island when coming here the first time in autumn 2020. But what blew me away the most was the accommodation we have chosen to be our home away from home - Filoxenia Villas - which made us returning customers in summer 2021. The space here would not be enough to describe the cosiness and slowing down of these 2 villas. The houses are owned by a extremely nice couple who are best in class in servicing and treating clients - I traveled a lot but never experienced something similar. When arriving to the villa they await you with a welcome drink, a fridge that is filled with drinks and food for at least the first 1-2 days to make your start into your vacation a most comfortable one. The house has a very well-appointed kitchen, a top-functioning WiFi and high quality furnishing in- and outside accompanied by a high degree of cleanliness. Nice amenities like a 10m pool, comfortable sun beds, beach towels, equipment when visiting the beach, shampoo, shower gel, dishwasher pads, laundry detergent and much more is unexpectedly provided as well. The owners support you with a lot of insight for sightseeing, shopping and restaurants to ensure you do not miss out on the best places on the island. I’ve booked this villa for four weeks and I have nothing but praise for the villas and the hosts Andreas and Olga. The villa is exactly as described with four bedrooms with a fully equipped kitchen, two baths and a very large swimming pool. There is a front and a back terrace as well as a roof terrace. There is everything that you could possibly need at the villa, which also comes with a fantastic view of the sea. Strong wifi. Best of all are the hosts who are just amazing. They are very friendly and extremely helpful. I requested Netflix which was not available and it was taken care of the very next day. Andreas keeps bringing me pastries which he bakes himself because he’s a cook. It’s a three minute drive away from Gennadi, where you will find fantastic restaurants (Zorbas), a supermarket , a bakery and several bars. I highly recommend staying at...
