Wow! What can I say about this place? This family ran hotel it's the perfect spot for anyone looking to relax and escape life! The owners are so friendly, very helpful and very kind people. They have went above and beyond for us whilst staying here by giving us their number if we need any assistance and even gave us a lift into faliraki town when we couldn't get a taxi! Rooms are lovely, simple and just what you need. Air con is €7 a day per room but with the cost of living and energy bills we didn't mind! The pool is lovely and refreshing after a day in the sun and the views from the hotel are breath taking. The most reliable bus stop to Lindos is a 22 min walk down the hill, town is about 35 or 30 If you're fast and there's a small shop about 15 mins down the hill. Taxis are you friend for getting back up and cost €10. Alex the owner who built his hotel is very kind and cooked very late at night for my friend and me when we arrived late. This family will hold a special place in my heart for their kindness and way of life. I can't wait for...
Read moreThe rooms are nothing fancy but that's ok because the price is reasonably cheap compared to other places although not by much. The owners have a terrible attitude towards guests. The towels in the rooms were not replaced a few days in a row and when I confronted the owners they were stubborn and refused to give more towels. Although is probably the cheapest option, it's not the most viable. The apartments are located 3km away from everything. I don't mind the 3km, it's not a lot but when it's 38 degrees outside, it can be very uncomfortable and tiring. Also the location is on the very top of a hill making it exhausting to move up and down. The view is amazing, you can almost see the whole island but it's definitely not worth. For 50 more euros you could probably find much better in terms of service and location. Also, just to finish, I think is absolutely ridiculous that air conditioning is paid extra 7 euro per night, in a country where there's 30 degrees outside pretty much every day...
Read moreOk so before me and my girlfriend left we came on here and we were worried about what to expext. We spent 7 nights here and had 0 complaints. If you want to grumble about paying 20 quid a night stop reading now. Our room was cleaned 6 of those days. The air con IS 7 euro per day but so is most places in Greece so you can't grumble at that. The hotel is situated high up and is a bit of pain if you don't like walking but the views are beautiful so we didn't mind. A taxi was 6/8 euro from the McDonalds at faliraki. The owners of the hotel are fantastic. The food is great. My only suggestion to the hotel would be to upgrade the beds to double beds rather than 2 singles. Overall this is a 3* hotel so don't go expecting the Hilton. We had a lovely little cheap holiday away and made the most of it. If it wasn't for the trip up the hill we would both return...
