Mirsini Apartments in Sifnos — Hotel in Municipality of Sifnos

We have been visiting for the last two years. Evaggelia, and her dad Giannis are locals and a true representation of Sifnian hospitality.  The accomodation simple and representative of the island, while it offers everything you will ever need, from secure parking, internet and cooking to washing machine. The rooms are extremely well kept, and clean. Mr Giannis also makes the best chickpeas on the island with the traditional method of wood oven, branches from the mountain and clay "tsikali" from Sifnos. They make them on Sundays and offer to visitors. We missed it this year due to our travel plan but we were treated to various local delicacies including jams, rakomelo. were fortunate to visit the festival of cycladic gastronomy "Tselementes". The apartments are up on a hill with breathtaking views over Platys Gyalos, while the cool air at night combined with shutters and mosquito nets is enough for comfortable sleep, without needing air-conditioning. It's situated 5-10min driving distance from the best villages and beaches of the island, as well as the port....

Hands down, one of the best accommodations I have ever had the privilege to stay in. It is probably not the most luxurious or modern, but its apparent simplicity and hospitality win you over from the first moment you cross its gate. Sifnos is a beautiful island. This is a quiet accommodation located in one of its wonderful sites. In addition, it is a family business where you will feel part of it. They have thousands of details with their guests (their homemade jams, their freshly baked cakes in the afternoon, their garden, how lucky you are if you stay on a Sunday and like chickpeas,...) and their main goal is to make you feel at home - including their lovely pets who came to visit us every morning. We could not have chosen a better apartment given that the quality / price is unbeatable. In fact, we were very sorry to leave... We had the most amazing stay and we can’t thank you enough for making it so special for us. The apartment was fully equipped, combining traditional charm with renovated touches, and it offered a spectacular sea view in a calm and peaceful area.

We especially loved being surrounded by animals. As city dwellers from Athens, it was such a joy to see a cow with her calf and goats right outside while enjoying our afternoon coffee. We cherish these simple moments.

Also, your warm hospitality made our stay unforgettable. The thoughtful idea of preparing the most traditional Siphnian dish every Sunday for all your guests, shows how much love and passion you put into what you do.
