ISALO Villa — Hotel in Municipality of Sitia

This place was the place of our dreams. No words to describe how much the apartment, the environment, the beach, the people - got into our hearts. We stayed here for a full month and it was really hard to leave.

Firstly, we were a couple with a 1.8 year old child. The place is fully equipped with everything you might think of (from a suitable room, to high chair, plastic bath, cups and plates for children, little games and toys and a cot.

The decoration, the BEAUTIFUL extraordinary view, the round window just in front of the water, the terrace, the fully equipped kitchen (with many things for cooking), and the cozy beautiful bedroom, make your stay unforgettable. The bed is super comfortable and everything is SUPER clean.

The beach beneath the apartment is like a small piece of heaven, taken from a movie.

Makrigialos is a small beautiful village with very good Tavernas on the sandy beach with umbrellas and beds. There are a few very good supermarkets and everything you might need.

And finally but not less important, Nikolaos, who is the best host a guest can ask for. Such a kind, caring person, who would do anything to make your stay perfect. Evangelia who is the kind lady taking care of the house, was always there for us. Of course, some wine, olive oil, Raki, and local products were waiting for us when we arrived.

Dreaming of the next time with visit Isalo...

We have traveled a lot and seen many places, but never have we – and our children – felt as comfortable as we did at Isalo Villa. We spent 1 week there and felt incredibly welcome from the very first moment.

Nikolas is an amazing host who puts a lot of effort into everything – nothing was missing. We and the kids felt immediately at home. The kids’ room was perfect – you really don’t need to bring anything: no toys, no coloring materials, absolutely nothing. There are plenty of toys, from board games and puzzles to Barbie dolls and cars. Even the air conditioning worked perfectly. For the first few days, because it was a holiday, our fridge was stocked with water, tea, and coffee.

The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and the villa was spotless, clean, and cared for with a lot of love. It really has everything you need to feel completely at home.

You can feel the heart and attention to detail in every corner. The calm and relaxed atmosphere of the villa is unique, and our children felt comfortable from the start – which is priceless for us as parents.

Before we arrived, my husband and our 5-year-old child, I thought from the photos just that it would be another incredible place. Once we arrived however, the feeling was just magical, unique! Beyond expectations. The location was beyond expectations, the sea right in front as if it were a private beach that had natural shade from a large cave. The house in addition to being incredibly clean was fully equipped for any guest whether one goes with friends, or for a couple or even for a family with children! The lady in charge of the house was extremely friendly, always available. I believe that in winter as well as in all seasons of the year it is a house that will leave the most beautiful moments of relaxation and carefree. The view was fantastic.
