The apartments themselves are so lovely traditional Greek architecture. Spacious, clean, and incredibly well-appointed, each unit feels like a luxurious home away from home. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect, from the high-quality linens and comfortable beds to the fully equipped kitchens and furnishings. The private terraces offering the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine at sunset.

Few times, if ever, do we receive service that we know we will never forget. When has it happened to you that the hotel owner was waiting for you on the road outside the hotel to greet you upon your entrance with a smile that could be recognized from the intersection? When have you been greeted with a bottle of water from the owner's hands, arriving just a second before he uncorks a bottle of white wine and pours you a glass and another? When, 10 minutes later, do you recognize him picking herbs from the perfectly manicured garden? The picked herbs find themselves in the Greek salad that he prepares for you himself, which will be the most delicious salad you have eaten on this trip? In short: large, well-designed and pleasant rooms, sparkling cleanliness, a well-kept garden, a pleasant pool and a homeowner who loves his job. Wow what an amazing place and special man, Nectarios. He is so passionate about his island and his apartments. Just book it you won't be disappointed. He seriously treated us like family. The pool area is amazing and built with rock from the nearby mountain. The town of Sitia is a long walk or short drive and worth a visit. His itinerary was perfect for us. Drive though villages and see spectacular beaches. Then drive home a different way and have the most special dinner at a taverna paced with locals directly in the sea.
