Μυθοξένια Παραδοσιακός Ξενώνας - Mythoxenia Guesthouse — Hotel in Municipality of Sparta

Our hostess at Mythoxenia, Effie, must have said this to us a thousand times! Five of us stayed at Mythoxenia for one night this past September. We were in the amazing village of Georgitsi to see the birthplace of our pro yiayia...great grandmother Ona, who left the village in the early 1900s in search of a better life...||From the moment we arrived there we were treated like family. Effie opened up her beautiful home/hotel to us and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable.Within minutes of finding out the reason for our trip she was on the phone finding out everything she could about our great grandma....within a couple of hours we were having drinks with cousins and friends!!! After that we returned to this beautiful boutique style hotel with a view that escapes words.....AMAZING. The rooms were beautiful, clean and so comfortable. Please add this amazing village and its lovely people to your trip to Greece...you...

Very nice place spotted on altitude of 850m (approx.) with great view of the surrounding area . Offers nice variety of refreshments, coffee and well cooked dishes including handmade pizza 🍕 and waffles. The small pool with max 1m depth is great alternative to cool down on hot days. The owner was always very open, friendly and available to serve. I would suggest the place. Did not stay overnight to have clear/objective perspective on rooms. I set 3 stars on rooms due to the light untidiness...

Επισκέφθηκαμε τον χώρο εστίασης του mythoxenia. Μουδιασμένοι στην αρχή και με αρκετά ερωτηματικά για το τι θα φάμε καλοκαίρι σε έναν είθισται χειμερινό προορισμό. Το αποτέλεσμα ήταν μια απίστευτη γευστική εμπειρία ικανή να με κάνει να επισκεφθώ ξανά αυτό το μέρος αλλά και το μαγαζί. Παραγγειλαμε: ||1.Μακαρονάδα all olio. Μακαρόνι aldente, μια σοβαρή δόση σκόρδου και μαϊντανου και φρεσκότατο λάδι. Σημειωση: Προσωπικά πρώτη φορά κάνω "βουτα ή παπαρα" σε μακαρονάδα... ||2.Φρέσκο τηγανιτό καλαμαρακι του οποίου το χρώμα και την γεύση ζηλεύουν ακριβά εστιατόρια.||3.Τοματοκεφτεδες & κολοκυθοκεφτεδες. Ειλικρινά εδώ θέλει hashtag #sorryakispetretzikis για την υπέροχη κρουστα και την όλη εκτέλεση.||4. Χύμα κρασί το οποίο ήταν στη κατάλληλη θερμοκρασία. Παγωμένο και η κανάτα να υδρωνει... ||||Κλείνοντας σε έναν χώρο εστίασης πάντοτε παίζει ρόλο το προσωπικό και ο χώρος. ||Προσωπικό: Χαμογελαστό, πάντοτε παρόντες και καθώς πρέπει.||Χώρος: με συγχωρείται αλλά όταν αγναντεύεις από τη μία πλευρά όλη τη Σπάρτη και μια άγρια ομορφιά της φύσης και από την άλλη την πισίνα σε υψόμετρο πολλών μέτρων ε... ε... ||||ΥΓ* Το αφεντικό είναι και η σεφ του εστιατορίου κυρία Έφη οπότε καταλαβαίνετε την αγάπη που...
