This house made our stay in santorini a dream! Located at the edge of a mountain, the views from every window are to the sea and all you see is the blue sky, the sea and the gorgeous island of santorini. It is located in pyrgos, off the main drag and away from main roads and the hustle and bustle of places like Oia. (It is necessary to rent a vehicle to get around from here, but it's cheap to rent and is the best way to see santorini.) We found this to be a great advantage. The hosts were lovely - Nadia couldn't have been sweeter and more accommodating. They bought a high chair before we arrived to attend to our baby and the tips Nadia gave us on where to go were better than what all the guidebooks told us. They were always attentive, providing us with a local cellphone to contact them with any requests. They also arranged a massage for us on site which was excellent. Breakfast was yummy and delivered to our private balcony each morning, overlooking the sea. There was also maidservice and the apartment was kept clean every day during our stay.the apartment was spacious and we had two private balconies - one with a hot tub which at night was open to a sky full of stars. Wonderful Place! Feels like in heaven! You are on the top of the mountain, feeling like a god on Olymp :-D you have the view over perivolos and you are surrounded by the view of the open sea and sky. Our expectation was high, we couldn't believe as we arrived, it was even better then on the pictures! We stayed 6 days, and we definately recommend this individual residence! The bed and sleepingroom was wonderful, and soooo quite! Sleeping was great! We had our own terasse and whirl pool! We had a rental car which was perfect! You are on the middle of the island and easily get everywhere! We were really happy with our stay and would DEFINATELY recommend if you look for something special and unique in a quite area. It's a nice place, very spacious, high up on a hill with a view on a plain (the opposite side of the island from the more beautiful caldera side). There is no swimming pool or view on traditional Greek architecture, if that's what you are after. However, it's clean, well decorated, calm and quiet. If I could give a small suggestion to the owners it would be to rethink the breakfast a little. It would be good to have ham/cheese for the continental breakfast, as well as simple toast and jam. Good to have fruit separate from yoghurt too, and milk separate from cereals, so that people can take as much as they want. We also found that breakfast was usually brought later...
