Palatino Rooms & Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Tripoli

We were on cycle tour of the region and they helpfully locked our bikes in a building next door. This feels more like a business hotel as it is not really on the tourist routes. It is therefore functional, the rooms include a kitchen area and lounge area which was great but the then the double bed was pushed against the wall in a small bedroom. Everywhere was clean and the bathroom was good. The location is in a run down area of the city but it is a short walk to the centre and all the life. The breakfast fell short of the standard we have seen in smaller family run places on our tour but perfectly OK. For a city centre non tourist hotel this is very good, it just lacks the personal touch you see in so many family run...

We bicycled to the Palatino from Vytina on a self guided tour so had no idea what to expect as our room was arranged by Arcas Travel Services. We are more than pleased. The desk staffer quickly directed us to the secure bike storage and quickly checked us in. We received an electronic key card and WiFi password. Read on for details.||||Located on a narrow city street, the Palatino featured an accommodating staff, small but clean, comfortable rooms, solid WiFi and a fair COVID-era breakfast. The beds were firmly comfortable while the pillows were uncomfortably soft.
