Five-Star Stay at Villa Mare – A Truly Memorable Experience

This is our last full day at Lakkos Villas, where we’ve had the pleasure of staying in Villa Mare—and we honestly couldn’t be happier. It’s a full five stars from us, and if we could give more, we absolutely would!

From start to finish, the experience has felt more like staying at a boutique hotel than a private villa. The owners have been outstanding—friendly, attentive, and incredibly thoughtful. Towels and sheets were changed regularly, and the villa was kept spotless with cleaning every few days. The pool was cleaned every three days, and to our delight, we even received some lovely little treats from our hosts—completely unexpected and so appreciated!

The garden adds a special touch with fruit trees you’re welcome to help yourself to (if the birds or previous guests haven’t beaten you to it! 😂).

As for the villa itself—it’s finished to the highest standard, with everything thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. The setting and views are simply breathtaking, adding to the overall tranquility and luxury of the experience.

Whether you choose Villa Mare or Villa Mons, you’re in for a fantastic stay. We can’t recommend it...

We’ve just arrived home after a 7 night stay in Villa Mare, Kardamyli. What a stunning villa and idyllic location! Everything was perfect; from the beautiful, spacious villa itself, to the amazing pool area and the shaded top level balcony and hot tub, not to mention how well equipped it was. You can even pick your own tomatoes! The owners, George and his wife are great too, on hand if you ever need anything. We all absolutely loved it including our two sons. We will certainly return....

There has clearly been a huge amount of care and attention that has gone into making this a perfect holiday retreat…the immaculate salt water swimming pool, the well tended little garden of fruit and vegetables, the fast WiFi coverage, the fridge of selected wines…etc.

There’s a nice sense of space and a lack of clutter in the house. Stunning views across the hillside and down to the sea. All this creates a of a lovely sense of calm...
