Notos Hotel — Hotel in Municipality of West Mani

Lovely collection of self-catering apartments serving breakfast and run by friendly and knowledgable people. Notos, is just outside the town of Kardamili so super peaceful. All the rooms have terraces or patios, most with great views - best views from the first-floor apartments. Each room has a well-equipped kitchen area, so you can eat in if you wanted to and just soak up the views. These were ever changing when we were there as we arrived during an unexpected hurricane with 20 foot waves crashing on the beach not far down the road! ||The small staff team coped amazingly well with the adverse weather - and even the torrential rain did not stop the delivery of fantastic breakfasts to our room each morning: fresh orange juice, yoghurt and honey, fresh bread and fruit, cheese and ham and good coffee. And then the sun came out for the last couple of days we were there!||The rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds; a small bathroom with a good shower; a desk and a kitchen table. The reception area is well stocked with good (free) maps and booklets. Make sure you pick up the map of the town when you arrive - it has everything you need marked on it! The owner, Yiorgis is very knowledgable about local history (and legend) and gives great advice on walks and where to eat.||A special delight are the collection of ginger cats and kittens who are experts at getting onto top-floor balconies. They were clearly well loved and fed by the owners - and did pretty well out of the guests too.||Lots to do in the area and so a hire car is almost a must. You could walk down to the beach in about 10 minutes - keep some energy for the uphill...

Stayed in Kardamili couple of years ago at Elies which was lovely, please see my review on this place, however decided to try somewhere new and came to Notos hotel. It’s beautiful here. The studio we have has two lovely balconies with amazing views over the sea. It’s elevated from the beach so has lovely cooling winds. The studio apartment is spacious, tastefully decorated, well equipped kitchen, modern bathroom and comfortable bed. Very impressed on day one and three more days booked in here.very pleased with my choice. The sun has just set and without light pollution the stars...

We stayed 2 nights at Notos hotel. It’s a set of apartment type rooms with a bathroom attached. Really neutral decor and all you need really for a break. It’s just outside the town but if you have a car it’s no problem at all. If it had a pool it would be ideal, but you are a very short car ride to 3 good beaches in the area. Owners are lovely and they also run leylas taverna and Elies hotel/taverna, both of which I recommend. If I come back to the area I would...
