Villa Elia & Petra and Suites — Hotel in Municipality of West Mani

Séjour 4 nuits du 17 au 21 juillet 2023. Nous pensions louer une villa entièrement pour nous au calme au milieu des oliviers. Nous découvrons en arrivant qu'en fait il y a dans la bâtisse ce qui est appelé villa qui correspond à la partie la plus importante mais qu'il y a aussi 2 autres appartements. Ceci n'a absolument pas été précisé alors que j'ai demandé avant de réserver si nous avions la maison en entier ou si nous devions la partager. Nous découvrons aussi que la maison n'est plus au milieu des oliviers qui ont été arrachés (photos non conformes sur les sites car anciennes) mais qu'il y a à la place des chantiers de construction très proches de la maison. On se dit alors que les ouvriers ne doivent pas travailler en plein été sinon la propriétaire ne louerait pas sa villa. Eh bien si ! Dès le premier matin réveillés à 8h par les chantiers. Impossible de profiter des terrasses et même dans la maison fenêtres fermées, pas possible de dormir. Aucune information non plus au moment de la réservation pour nous dire qu'il risquait d'y avoir des nuisances sonores. Nous mettons donc 1 seule étoile pour ce logement non pas pour le logement lui même qui est très bien mais pour le manque d'honnêteté et de bonne foi de la propriétaire et pour les conditions extrêmement bruyantes que nous avons dû supporter pour nos vacances. C'est comme si nous avions loué sur un chantier alors je vous laisse imaginer. En tout cas, les travaux sont loin d'être terminés alors surtout ne louez pas cette maison sauf si vous souhaitez passer vos vacances sur un chantier ! Stay 4 nights from July 17 to 21, 2023. We were thinking of renting a villa entirely for us in peace in the middle of olive trees. We discover on arriving that in fact there is in the building what is called villa which corresponds to the most important part but that there are also 2 other apartments. This was absolutely not specified when I asked before booking if we had the whole house or if we had to share it. We also discover that the house is no longer in the middle of the olive trees which have been uprooted (non-compliant photos on the sites because they are old) but that there are instead construction sites very close to the house. We then say to ourselves that the workers should not work in the middle of summer otherwise the owner would not rent her villa. Well yes! From the first morning woke up at 8am by the construction sites. Impossible to enjoy the terraces and even in the house with the windows closed, not possible to sleep. No information either at the time of booking to tell us that there was a risk of noise pollution. We therefore put only 1 star for this accommodation not for the accommodation itself which is very good but for the lack of honesty and good faith of the owner and for the extremely noisy conditions that we had to endure for our holidays. We were greeted by Christina and taken to our beautiful room. Villa Elia & Petra had an inviting atmosphere, with modern decor and a cozy atmosphere, and nature at your feet surrounded by olive trees. Christina went above and beyond to make sure that our expectations are well met. Very pleased to have met her! Excellent communication and cleanliness. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment which was extremely beautiful, clean and spacious. Christina the owner was amazing and hospitable always there to answer any question or give us great suggestions for the area. We will definitely come back for...
