Avoid, if possible! If I could give zero stars, I would. Our stay at Lichnos Bay Village and Camping in August 2025 was a complete disappointment, marked by filthy facilities, nonexistent amenities for campers, and an outrageous incident involving our belongings. While the location near Lichnos Beach and Parga town is scenic, it’s overshadowed by the campsite’s gross mismanagement and rude staff. We pitched our tent on the first terrace (there are 4 going up the hill) of this campsite, which is poorly equipped. The bathrooms on each terrace were consistently dirty, with most lacking working lights or soap. During our stay (5days) there was NO HOT WATER at any point during the day or night. There are no functional refrigerators or kitchen facilities, forcing campers to rely on shared fridges in the “wildish” camping area (a section without water or electricity). Staff explicitly instructed us to store our food there, which we did. The worst part came after a morning walk in Parga. Our entire basket of food—prosciutto, cheese, milk, a bottle of wine, brand new bottle (1L) Aperol Spritz, several beers, and several ice packs—stored in the shared fridge/freezer as directed, was gone. The receptionist claimed it was mistaken for “rubbish” and that staff told campers to remove items. This explanation is absurd for clearly sealed food. We were told to return two hours later to speak with the manager and that they’d call us. No call ever came. When we followed up, another staff member was dismissive and rude, telling us to “come back later” with no answers. After hours of waiting, reception offered a meager bag with a bottle of wine, chips, bread, and four small beer cans as an “apology”—nowhere near replacing what was lost. When I asked for more information, I was met with a snarky “Do you want something else!?” This level of unprofessionalism, from mishandling our belongings to outright rudeness, is unacceptable. The campsite’s neglect of basic hygiene and amenities, combined with their failure to address a serious issue, makes this place a nightmare for campers. I strongly advise avoiding Lichnos Bay Village and Camping until management overhauls their facilities and staff training. By far the worst experience I had in Greece camping for years. Save your money and peace of mind for a...
Read moreIf I could give no stars I would. This has got to be the worst hotel I've stayed in. I booked a deluxe junior suite with Tui based on Tui's online brochure photos.. The room photos looked moden & contemporary . Our room nowhere near looked anything like them. Also Tui's photo of block of rooms with a pool in front are not even available to Tui's customers to book. There are no fire instructions in the room in case of emergency, the air conditioning units leaked water on to the balcony making it a slip hazard, in the communal shower/toilet block near reception a plug socket was hanging off the wall with bare wires near a sink. When I contacted Tui about no fire instructions etc the hotel told them they have security patrolling at night ! There are no phones in the room so if a guest identifies an issue who do they contact? I didn't know Greek emergency phone numbers or the hotel number, does anyone check that before they go on holiday?? Our room wasn't cleaned for 3 days after I'd complained to Tui. A cleaner only appeared after I threatened to bring the used toilet paper bin down to reception or flush it down the toilet. She insisted she'd cleaned the room even though said toilet paper bin hadn't been emptied, room bin not emptied or beds made. She said she'd left us clean towels, yes she did -on a chair outside the room. Reception said we'd told her we didn't want our room cleaning. This was our neighbours who had only arrived the night before. Why would they go to one room to clean it and not clean the one next door? The 'free' shuttle 'bus' again is nothing like the picture. They use a black Mercedes small people carrier , seating approx 8 and I saw them cram 14 passengers into it with 2 adults sat together on a single passenger seat next to the driver. If the Merc wasn't available the staff used their own vehicles which didn't look roadworthy. Would they have been insured to drive us? Also one driver offered to collect us from town in the evening. 1st night he did it for free 2nd time charged us 10€! |Only a few of the staff were friendly-the guy on the beach who looked after the sunbeds, the lady in the onsite mini market and a breakfast waitress.|I've got photos but unable to add to review....
Read moreVery disappointing experience at Enjoy Lichnos Beach Village
We booked one type of room online, but upon arrival we were given a completely different one – absolutely not what we paid for, and with the quality of a zero-star accommodation. Cleanliness was minimal: even though we were 4 people, we were given only 3 towels. In 3 days, the room was “cleaned” just once with only a superficial touch-up – no fresh sheets, no new towels. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, making it hard to rest properly.
The restaurant was equally disappointing. We had to wait 35–45 minutes just to place an order and then over an hour for the food to arrive. Staff often ignored us when we called for assistance. In the morning, the place was not properly disinfected, and the wasps were so annoying that it was almost impossible to enjoy breakfast.
Another very unpleasant thing was that during the day the staff frequently lowered the electricity limiters to turn off the air conditioning for anyone who might have left it on, which made staying in the room really uncomfortable.
The only saving grace was the man at the barrier, Taso, the girl at the coffee bar, and the girl serving at the beach umbrellas – they at least tried to make the stay a bit better. Otherwise, it would have been a complete nightmare.
Even after making complaints, no effort was made to fix the situation. Definitely not worth the money, and we...
