Hotel Eleni — Hotel in Prespes Municipality

For 60 euros per night....Asked for a foot towel because there wasn't any of it and the water was splashing out of the bathtub's rectangular "thing", resulting a soaked bath floor. The answer was "we are not providing any foot towels". When I said that the bathroom is very wet the owner responded that "IT IS WHAT IT IS". Then I asked him whether HE had (or not) a bath mat in his own personal bathroom at his house and the answer was "No I don't have any!".Which I consider as a very cheap answer because everybody has a bathmat or a foot towel at their place. I told him that his behavior was not proper and he answered: "Look girl...Like Americans say: No offense!!!". Not to mention the worst: We spoke on the phone with him, a month before our arrival to the hotel and we booked with ORAL agreement for a 4 days stay but when the time came and we went to Florina, unfortunately the snow was melted and we decided to leave 1 day earlier, as we couldn't do any ski activities with no snow... So we asked for the cost of our rooms and he decided to charge us the whole amount even if we wouldn't stay the last day and even if we checked out before 12pm. Just because we had an ORAL agreement by phone. And of course NO RECEIPT!!! I was going to send him to hell but my father in law who is a decent and respectful person paid him 100 euro extra without even staying there! Just before our depart. And this awful man accepted the money! If he wanted the whole amount, he could ask for a prepayment or by credit card charge but he didn't want to cut a receipt and show the transaction. I will never go back...

Don’t let the word “hotel” fool you! If this hotel named itself a hostel I would give it 3 stars. This hotel looks (and feels because the beds are softer than the floor..) like it hasn’t changed since the 60s. Loose sockets, broken tiles, dirty and loose shower curtain, a TV from the stoneage that doesn’t even work (why is it even there?). The walls are thin like paper and therefore you can hear the conversations of your neighbors in detail. A hotelroom is supposed to offer you comfort after a day traveling or ski, but we found this room extremely uncomfortable and even frustrating! Its not worth the €70! Also the breakfast is very minimal, no yoghurt or fruit or vegetables. The only positive we found was the owner who reviewed us kindly with tea and biscuits.

Λόγω κακοκαιρίας,δηλώσαμε από την προηγούμενη ημέρα ότι θέλουμε να ακυρώσουμε γιατί και η τροχαία Φλώρινας μας συμβούλεψε να μην μετακινηθούμε και να πάρουμε τα μισά χρήματα πίσω όπως ορίζει η νομοθεσία. Η διαχειρίστρια μας είπε ότι θα μας πάρει τηλέφωνο σε λίγο. Περιμέναμε 4 ώρες και αφού δεν πήρε τηλέφωνο,την πήραμε ξανά στο τηλέφωνο και η απάντηση ήταν "λέτε χαζά και δε δέχομαι αυτόν τον λόγο. Αν το νοικιάσω θα σας επιστρέψω τα χρήματα, αλλά μόνο αν το νοικιάσω". Κι όταν επιμείναμε ότι είναι υποχρεωμένη να επιστρέψει τα μισά χρήματα και ότι δε θα μας πει ότι λέμε χαζά ή ψέματα, μας το έκλεισε!||Δεν είναι τόσο τα χρήματα όσο η άσχημη συμπεριφορά της...
