AVRA HOTEL — Hotel in Preveza Municipality

I have stayed in this hotel twice. The location is just superb. View from the balcony is just wonderful - Its like watching a tv show – daily life in Preveza . and you will never get bored. But the most unique picture you can observe from your balcony is sunrise and boats with fresh fish arriving around 6, 7 am….people gathering , chatting , laughing ... . And local cats that know the exact time of arrival of fresh fish ! Walking distance to local taverns, restaurants , shops , big supermarket with Greek products , marina , beaches.||The hotel belongs to one of the cleanest I have been to. So quiet that you can hardly wake up in the morning…. The staff is extremely kind and helpful . Another example of Greek hospitality ! I know that now - if I am back to Preveza , can’t think about any other location. The bathroom must have been renovated recently as they look immaculate – brand new. And another thing which is very convenient and useful is a small fridge – excellent idea for us holiday makers. If you need a lift there is a taxi stop literally 20 meters away . No other hotel is right on the port of Preveza. Wanted into this on my way to another one rated #1 but that one really had no sea views!||Avra has the best views from the 3rd floor (counted as 2 in Greece). Super simple but extremely affordable for the location. I think it was the best value for the neighborhood and it also came recommended by the food place we visited right before.|I will be back to Preveza and this hotel if I ever come this way again! Stayed here for 2 nights and I can’t fault the hotel as it was nice and clean however it was situated right next to lovely bar we visited and the reception complained about the noise from the bar. Found this really disrespectful as the bar has been there for many years and we didn’t find the music overly loud or annoying. Live and let live we find. The staff in the bar were very respectful and the music was not at all loud or at any time interfered with our stay...
