We stayed here for one night on our route to south Albania. We chose the place because of its location and vicinity to the beach and I was not wrong at all. The beach is so nice and quiet and really peaceful. The water has a brownish hue to the river flowing into the sea relatively nearby but it's very clean and enjoyable. The hotel rooms are sort of old-fashioned, very basic but they are really clean, bathroom included, no question about it. There was also a mid-size fridge which is always very useful. The beds are OK although the mattresses tend to be a little stiff. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious! Pork souvlaki, fried squid, tzatziki and smoked mackerel - all very good and generous portions. House wine is also nice, prices are quite good while service is fast, friendly and polite. We didn't have a proper breakfast in the morning, just coffee which was great. However the breakfast options also looked very good. Overall, a very pleasant and nice experience which I definitely recommend! very good value for money. There is also a pool and a kids pool onsite, we didn't try them but they both looked like a...
Read moreIt's an old hotel. I guess it was renovated in the 90-s last time. FYI there aren't many power sockets so you should bring a charger with the possibility of charging more devices at the same time. Pillows are quite firm and that can be a problem for someone. But above all the room was very clean!!! The restaurant has a million Dollar view, and it's very nice. I was lucky enough to see Delphines paly in the water from the terace. But the service is weird. For dinner they bring appetizers and main meals at the same time. For breakfast they bring you an egg ten minutes after the rest of the food. They charge you for espresso coffee, but don't bring a Greek coffee ☕ that is included in the breakfast. Someone could get really upset about those things, I was more shocked and surprised. Waiters are not lazy, but more uneducated for the work they do. The food, besides the breakfast, was very delicious and not expensive. So if you go there skip breakfast and grab lunch or dinner and try some...
Read moreGreat value for money if you're not looking for luxury. The staff was friendly, and the beach was nearby — those were the only real positives.
Unfortunately, the rooms had a very musty smell, as if they hadn’t been aired out in months. The furnishings were extremely outdated, the fridge wouldn’t close properly, and the mattresses were completely worn out — sleeping well was impossible.
We only used the place to sleep, but even that was a struggle with such uncomfortable beds. Another major issue was the large number of dead bugs everywhere, which was very unpleasant.
I don’t know what breakfast is like during the high season, but outside of it, it resembled something you'd get at a hospital — a few slices of this and that, and that’s it. Definitely not worth it.
The beach itself was a disappointment — dirty, with lots of buoys and garbage...
